Courtney said that he traveled to Charleston to audition for the role and it was a really quick process as he was hired almost immediately: “I got literally out into the parking lot to drive back to Columbia when I got a call, asking about my availability to shoot the film. I didn’t even get to the freeway when they called again and asked me to come back to meet with (Green). It was meant to be.”
