Former 90 Day Fiancé star Varya Malina irked many fans by posting a video from Geoffrey Paschel’s son’s grave. It isn’t the first time Russian beauty has received a backlash on social media. She got sharp criticism when she supported Geoffrey, even though he was found guilty of assaulting his ex-lover. Varya believes that her man is innocent and justice wasn’t served. She is now pleading with 90 Day Fiancé fans to help Geoffrey by sending him money in prison, which will somehow allow him to see his family often. While some did help Geoffrey, others thought Varya was misusing her reality TV fame to support a convicted criminal.
Since the Knoxville resident is behind bars, Varya has been taking care of his dogs and house. She is also posting many shocking videos lately, probably to increase her followers and earn more money from Instagram. A few days ago, she shocked fans by sharing a video in which she was sporting a wedding and the engagement ring that Geoffrey gave her on the show. She then posted a picture of Geoffrey from prison in which he looked tired and unhappy.
Most recently, the 90 Day Fiancé alum Varya posted a quick time-lapse of decorating Geoffrey’s youngest son, Khazem’s gravesite. With the video, she wrote, “I’ve decorated Khazem’s grave today, and that gave me so much more excitement and positive vibes.” Varya asked Khazem to guard his father in prison because he needed his help. However, many 90 Day Fiancé fans thought the video was disrespectful and shouldn’t have been shared on social media, especially by the person who didn’t even know Khazem. A fan reshared the screenshot of Varya’s shocking video on Reddit and expressed their frustration. A Redditor agreed with OP’s opinion and said (via @binzyz), “She’s exploiting a deceased child for clout or sympathy for her disgusting boyfriend.”

Another chimed in, “I find it inappropriatee to post someones grave online, its disrespectul to beg for likes through someones death.” Someone else expressed, “Not surprised in the least as Varya has zero moral compass.” It was nice of Varya to decorate Geoffrey’s son’s grave, but she probably shouldn’t have shared the video on Instagram. She may have had good intentions, but it looked like she tried to monetize this emotional moment. This video seems like a calculated attempt to make fans sympathize with her and Geoffrey’s situation.
Still, Varya’s fans think that she did the right thing by decorating Khazem’s grave for Christmas. Even though the 44-year-old TV star Geoffrey has been found guilty of his heinous crimes, a group of 90 Day Fiancé viewers feels that he is innocent. Just like Natalie Mordovtseva, Geoffrey’s fans are hoping for him to come back home soon. Other 90 Day Fiancé fans can’t wait to see Geoffrey spend the rest of his middle age behind bars.
