It’s possible that the Nintendo Switch might be receiving a handful of incredible new titles if a leak that comes from the Best Buy website is to be believed. According to a user on Twitter, there may be Switch ports of Metroid Prime Trilogy, Persona 5, and The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past.

The leak comes courtesy of Twitter user Wario64, who has a reputable history of sharing leaked information about upcoming games. According to Wario64, there are entries within the Best Buy employees terminal with unique SKU codes for the three games.

Persona 5 for the Nintendo Switch has been rumored since Joker was confirmed for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and the recent launch of a website called www.p5s.jp, which promises an announcement later this month suggests to some fans that the “S” stands for “Switch.”

An HD remake of Metroid Prime Trilogy for the Nintendo Switch has also been rumored for a while now, as well as rumors of the game being delayed when Metroid Prime 4 had its development restarted.

The big surprise on the list is The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past. In fact, it might be the best reason to believe that the leaks are fake. Nintendo already has two Zelda games coming out for the Nintendo Switch in 2019 (a remake of Link’s Awakening and Cadence of Hyrule) and it’s unlikely that there will be three Zelda titles released in the same year, unless a remake of A Link to the Past is going to be announced at E3 2019 with a planned release of 2020.

One possibility is that the entry is for a code for the SNES version of A Link to the Past, as Nintendo might have changed its mind about the Virtual Console and might go back to selling digital copies of their older games. This theory seems unlikely, however, due to the recent data mine of the Nintendo Switch Online mode that suggests that Super Nintendo games will soon be given away for free as part of the service.

If these leaks are legit, then it stands to reason that there will be another Nintendo Direct before E3 in June, as it would be too premature for retailers to learn about these games now since announcements that are still two months away. There have been instances in the past when retailers were given information about games in advance, but these usually happened just before a Direct.
