Although Billy is no more, he left behind a great legacy, and his memory lives on in his family members. Also, the Bush family patriarch left behind several treasures for his famous family when he died. During an interview with HollywoodLife, Bear revealed what his late father left for him before dying. He said, “I have one of dad’s old rings. I carry it in my pocket all the time because it is too big for my hand. It is a ring of his that he picked up along the way and he got it from a thrift shop years ago. I made jokes to him all the time that I wanted the ring. But they were just jokes.”

However, the oversized ring is not Bear’s favorite and most prized possession of all time from his dad. That position belongs to his necklace, which Billy gave him when he was a kid. Bear said he never takes the necklace off and may just pass it to his one-year-old son River, who he shares with Raiven Adams. For now, he is more concerned about instilling old-fashioned values in River. Bear has previously revealed he wants to be the best dad to River and teach him what Billy taught him. Bear also wants to teach River the Bush code, which involves treating others how he wants to be treated, living free, and being free.

Billy was a great man and left a lasting legacy for his family to emulate. Bear’s revelations show Billy left more than a legacy but also gave his family members treasures to remember him by. The Bush family patriarch instilled many valuable lessons in all his children. There is no doubt that those values will pass from one generation to another of the famous family. Although fans and viewers of Alaskan Bush People will no longer see Billy on the show, they will always see and feel his impact on the lives of every member of the family he left behind.
