Cold Iron Studios provided an early look at the full roadmap for the first year of Aliens: Fireteam Elite — a co-op shooter set in the iconic Alien universe. Players will receive regular “big gameplay-centered updates,” adding new features, character kits, weapons, perks, and even several new game modes. Oh, and all of the above won’t require any additional spendings.

Aliens: Fireteam Elite launched in August and has already got its free Season 1 content update, bringing the new shield-wielding Phalanx class into the brawl. Things are going to be even more intense for the fans in the future, as much more exciting content will be arriving throughout 2022.

As detailed on the game’s official website, Aliens: Fireteam Elite will get at least three more seasonal updates until Q3 2022. Presumably, Season 2 will arrive in Winter this year, Season 3 should be expected in Spring next year, and Season 4 will sum up things sometime in Summer.

With Seasonal updates, the devs will introduce at least two new game modes, an additional character kit for Season 3, and lots of new weapons, attachments, and perks. Regarding the upcoming game mode for Season 2, the details are still under wraps yet the team hinted it’ll satisfy those who already enjoy Horde Mode.

As said by the team, you can “expect twists to the session length, goals, and the tools you will have available, as well as the cool new environments they will be set in.” Naturally, you’ll also get plenty of QoL improvements, balance changes, and everything else in between those major seasonal updates.

If you want to further support Cold Iron Studios, you should pay attention to the Endeavor Pass DLC that will be released alongside the start of each Season. These packs ($10 each) will contain a variety of in-game cosmetics, such as outfits, head accessories, emotes, weapon colors, and decals.
