Chef Ben Robinson is a famous Below Deck and Below Deck Med alum, and we’re here to share some interesting information about his life. He was the onboard chef for the first four Below Deck seasons. However, he was only featured in the last few episodes of season three. Ben has spent more time on the Bravo series than any other chef. He and former chief stew Kate Chastain (who left after season seven) are two of the longest-running cast members on the show. Even though Ben is no longer serving as a chef on Below Deck yachts, he is still whipping up gourmet meals all over the world.

Ben was born on December 30, 1980, in England. The now 40-year-old moved from England at a very young age, to attend boarding school when his parents moved to the United States. His father is author Patrick Robinson, who has been on the New York Times bestseller list. Ben later moved to South Florida, where he currently resides. From a young age, Ben knew that he wanted to be a successful chef. After being in the business for more than 20 years, it’s safe to say that he’s achieved his goal.

According to his Chefbenrobinson website, he has worked as a chef on land and at sea. He trained under Italian master chefs in Florence. He received an apprenticeship at the three-Michelin Star restaurant The Fat Duck, which located in the United Kingdom. After his apprenticeship, Ben began working as a head chef on yachts, which he has been doing for more than a decade. He was once the chef on the largest sailing yacht in the world. Besides his chef career, Ben is a certified health coach who specializes in helping clients who want to lose weight. He also helps clients who live with cancer or addiction. As well, he runs his own catering business, and that business takes him all over the world. He has cooked for celebrities such as Seth Rogan.

As for his personal life, Ben met Emily Warburton Adams during Below Deck season four, and their romance was one reason to watch the show. The pair hit it off right away and went on dates during the season. They continued their relationship once they left the Valor yacht. The couple even lived together in Florida for about a year. They also worked together on yachts once in a while. However, in October 2017, Ben confirmed that the two called it quits. Last year, Ben confirmed in a series of Instagram photos that he is in a new relationship with Kiara Cabral, 26. One of the first pictures he shared was of the two in matching robes during their stay at the LaPlaya Beach & Golf Resort in Florida.

Even though Chef Ben hasn’t appeared on a season of Below Deck in four seasons (Rachel Hargrove, who appeared on ANTM, is now in the galley), there is still a chance he may return. However, he may not need to, seeing as he has started an uber-successful catering business since gaining notoriety from the Bravo series. Hopefully, one day, Ben will make a return as a yacht chef.
