5 Willow: Resurrected Buffy

Willow has also taken on unstoppable opponents and survived. In season 5, she seeks vengeance on Glory after the hell goddess absorbs Tara’s sanity. Although Willow ultimately cannot defeat the powerful deity, she manages to wound Glory more than any other character besides Buffy.

This scene foreshadows the Dark Willow arc in season 6. Willow showcases a formidable repertoire of magical powers that make her the most powerful figure in the Buffyverse. Bonnie and Willow are the most powerful characters in their respective series; Dark Willow would have no qualms trying to kill her opponent, but a battle between the witches could be impossibly close to call.
