The new Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War map Firebase Z has plenty of hidden gems for the player to find, with numerous opportunities for players to get things for free (after some effort). A recently discovered easter egg can even provide a player with a free RAI K-84, which is almost impossible to build before round 10. A free Jugger-Nog can also is at the end of the mini-challenge after the player finds the golden chest.

The Aether Bunny easter egg is simple; it just requires some time to trigger the event. In solo, the Aether Shroud can prove to be more than useful while starting this easter egg. Some players are debating a connection between the bunny found in this easter egg and the bunny that would appear while doing the easter egg in the original Der Riese map in Call of Duty: World at War.

First, the player must turn on the power. Once everything is turned on, return to the Atrium in The Village. Head up the stairs to the right of Ravenov’s window, turning left at the top of the stairs to the west, and stopping right before the doorway into Scientists Quarters. Look south down the hallway past the stacks of wooden chairs and benches. There will be a stuffed blue rabbit on the balcony. Stare at the rabbit until it faces it, turns its head, and keep staring. The rabbit will teleport the player to a new area.

Once here, the player needs to shoot the pink hovering stuffed rabbits. Anyone who played the Crota’s end raid in Destiny will recognize this part’s mechanics from the first phase of the raid with the Thrall. The player needs to destroy the first bunny, look around for the second bunny’s pink glow and get in range to destroy it. After destroying all three floating rabbits, all zombies in the area will disappear. Look and listen for the golden chest. Before opening, note that there is a limited amount of time to collect all the items, so Jugger-Nog should be collected last. A high-level weapon will be ejected furthest away from the container. It helps to take a couple of steps back from the chest to see if it’s worth grabbing. Isn’t that way cooler than that coffin dance easter egg?
