A strange distress signal that plays during matches in Call of Duty: Warzone is confusing players who are trying to decipher exactly what it means. The message is likely some sort of nod towards the second season of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Warzone content that is launching next week. The update is set to introduce a series of new operators, weapons, items, and challenges, which players can get a glimpse of in a recently released Black Ops Cold War teaser trailer.
One weapon from Season 2 of Black Ops Cold War and Warzone that some users have already been able to get familiar with is the Sykov pistol. Prominent Call of Duty players were able to unlock the weapon and use it in-game ahead of its official release on February 25. The exploit involves getting a certain amount of pistol kills in multiple matches and it can then be equipped or modified with a variety of attachments.

Although it is still unclear exactly what the mysterious signal is, most players seem to agree that it is something to do with the upcoming second season of Cold War and Warzone.
Although there is a lot of excitement ahead of the launch of Season 2, Warzone players have still had a number of complaints about the battle royale title. These are mainly focused on glitches and exploits that are giving some players unfair advantages in matches. One of the most problematic bugs that came to light recently is a wallhack glitch that seemingly made walls invisible, allowing users to see the outlines of other competitors in the Gulag, as well as the constant return of Warzone’s stim glitch.
