Baba Yaga’s location is essential for completing challenges in Fortnite season 8. This time around, NPCs are given a bit more significance this season. Players will be able to check into the Quest tab and scroll over to the Characters Punchcard section. There will be a long list of NPCs for players to accept quests from, each with their own theme to keep them unified. The more challenges players complete, the more XP they will earn for Battle Stars towards their Battle Pass.
Baba Yaga herself is needed to complete the New Brew questline. All of her challenges are centered around healing and health. This is what she expects players to do.
- Mark a medkit, a bandage, and a small shield potion: 12k
- Use any of the services of a mending machine: 14k XP
- Consume foraged items: 16k XP
- Restore health with a fish: 18k XP
- Use a bandage or a medkit in the Sideways: 20k XP
Fortnite does a great job this season in assisting players with finding specific NPCs. Players can head over to the Character Punchcard tab and choose Baba Yaga. Plenty of these challenges can be completed within a single game but it is not required. Although, before players can complete these challenges, they will need to find and interact with Baba Yaga first. This will reveal her exact location on the map.
Baba Yaga’s Location in Fortnite
Players will be able to find Baba Yaga located in the southwest end of the Sludgy Swamp in Fortnite. She can be found standing next to a blue boat on a dock in this location. Interact with her to begin this questline. It’s important to mention that players will need to have a slot available in their quest log. Players are only able to carry 5 Character Quests at a time. In order to add it, players will need to complete whatever Character Quests they already have first.
These challenges are amongst the easier to complete for this week. Medkits, bandages, and shield potions are common so pinging them won’t be a problem. Mending Machines are located in a variety of different Named Locations on the map, but they do require gold to use. Players can find foraged items located in tons of areas with lots of trees like Corny Crops or Weeping Woods. Players can also head over to Fortnite’s Coral Castle to find a fishing rod to complete the fourth challenge. Lastly, the Sideways exact location shifts with every game. They don’t need to land in this exact location at the start of the match. They can head inside, heal, and complete this challenge.
