The Coma 2: Vicious Sisters is an atomosphieric, story-driven Korean horror game featuring vibrant hand-drawn in-game visuals and comic strips, published by Headup Games and developed by Devespresso Games. The game tells the story of Mina Park, a young student at Sehwa High School who wakes up in her school one evening and immediately realizes something is wrong. Her familiar school has turned dark and sinister, and she does not understand why. Beyond that, someone – or something – is chasing her: a creature bares an eery resemblance to her teacher. Mina will have to find a way to survive the night and escape from this twisted reality alive.
The game will allow players to full immerse themselves in this alternate reality and explore the warped Sehwa school. There, they’ll encounter an eclectic cast of characters, solve puzzles, search for clues, fight for survival, uncover a mystery, and find a way to escape the night alive. The game is rated mature for its depictions of mild blood, violence, and gore.
Players will have to rely on stealth, skill, and wit in order to emerge unscathed. They’ll be forced to confront their worst fears and find themselves in dangerous scenarios where they could sustain permanent damage. As Mina, players will hone their skills and craft weapons and items to give her a fighting chance. And don’t forget to use a flashlight in the middle of the night; that bright glow might be the only thing that keeps Mina alive against monsters and creatures.
The Coma 2: Vicious Sisters was released back in November 2019 through Steam Early Access where it received nearly unanimous positive reviews. The game will officially launch on Steam on January 28. Those who played the game through Early Access will receive a free “Survival Guide/Art Book” as well as a copy of the game’s original soundtrack upon its official release.
There are also currently plans for ports for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. However, no concrete plans have been released so far.
