In October 2021, Disney+ will add new episodes of an animated series from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Halloween specials from two very different but popular worlds, and an MCU movie will leave its spot on the Premier Access area and be available to stream for everyone. Streaming platforms have been an ally to studios and a solution for the audience during the coronavirus pandemic, and even though theaters around the world are now open and operating again, these platforms continue to be a main source of entertainment. Disney has benefited a lot from having its own platform, Disney+, and to keep its audience entertained, the Mouse House adds new content every month.
September welcomed the anime anthology series Star Wars: Visions, more episodes of Marvel’s What If…?, and Billie Eilish’s concert experience Happier than Ever: A Love Letter to Los Angeles, along with movies like Dark Phoenix, Tomorrowland, Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, and The Fault in Our Stars. October will see the arrival of different movies from both Disney and Fox, such as Alvin and the Chipmunks, Rookie of the Year, and Thumbelina, along with TV series from National Geographic and more.
When it comes to original content, Disney+ will bring a couple of Halloween specials to get the Halloween spirit going, among those a LEGO Star Wars special and a new adventure from The Muppets, as well as the final episode of What If…?, and Black Widow will now be available to stream for everyone.
