As shocking as it may sound, there has never been an official Five Nights at Freddy’s VR experience. This spring, things are about to change.

Yesterday, as part of Sony’s State of Play, a new Five Nights of Freddy’s game was unveiled. It’s not a sequel or prequel, however. The game, titled Five Nights At Freddy’s VR: Help Wanted, is “based” on the core five games of the series, according to the PlayStation Blog. Check out the teaser below.

While this may sound like a port, Sony promises that it’s much more, and will feature “new nightmares.” Players will be utilizing the DualShock 4, or PS Move controllers to interact with the environment. Longtime players will recognize the locations. While the games on PC and tablet deliver scares, Help Wanted is being hyped as a truly horrifying experience. The best kinds of VR experiences are those that make you feel like you’re in the game. Sony says encounters with the infamous animatronics will be “at a real-world scale,” and is described “as a wholly terrifying experience.”

In addition to bringing aspects of the five games to VR, a new feature will be collectibles. According to the blog, players will be able to find things, such as action figures and plushies, which can be used at the prize counter. Completionists should have a good time looking for every item.

“I’m incredibly excited to bring Five Nights at Freddy’s to virtual reality and give fans a new way to experience the franchise,” says Scott Cawthon, creator of the Five Nights At Freddy’s franchise.

Help Wanted sounds like it’s going to be an authentic Five Nights at Freddy’s experience, and maybe even better. Longtime fans will probably be interested in seeing if they can be scared in a more immersive way. Meanwhile, this is a perfect opportunity for newcomers to jump into the iconic series. Help Wanted is grabbing levels from the four Five Nights titles, and Sister Location.

The game is being made by veteran VR developers Steel Wool Games (QUAR: Battle for Gate 18, Mars Odyssey).
