Genshin Impact 13 Leaks Everything Rumored & Confirmed

The current version of Genshin Impact will be concluding in the next few weeks, which means many fans are already looking ahead to Version 1.3. As usual, alleged leaks and rumors are rampant in the lead-up to Genshin Impact 1.3, and it may be hard for some players to keep track of what’s true and what’s merely speculation. Here’s everything rumored and confirmed for Version 1.3 so far.

Anytime a new update is coming to Genshin Impact, rumors begin to swirl about which new playable characters will be coming to the game. Characters are arguably the most popular part of Genshin Impact, so a lot of fans want to know what to expect next. In terms of areas, it doesn’t look look like the long-awaited Inazuma region will be in 1.3 just yet, which means most of the new playable characters will likely be ones players have already seen in the main story.

Multiple new characters have been leaked recently, including eight characters that appeared in an alleged Genshin Impact datamine. Quite a few of these datamined characters have since appeared in-game, like Rosaria, or are rumored to be coming in future updates, like Hu Tao and Ayaka. Another long-awaited character, Xiao, is also rumored to finally be joining the roster as a Banner character for Genshin Impact Version 1.3.

Genshin Impact 1.3 Character Leaks & Updates Explained

The rumors regarding Hu Tao and Xiao as Banner characters haven’t been confirmed by Genshin Impact developer miHoYo yet. However, rumors like these have typically proven true, such as Ganyu and Albedo in 1.2 and Zhongli and Tartaglia in 1.1. Allegedly, the story of Version 1.3 is concerned with the Lantern Rite Festival, which was already a part of the beta, so Xiao and Hu Tao make sense as Banners – since the story content would take place in Liyue, where both characters play important roles.

So far, very few aspects of Genshin Impact Version 1.3 have been officially confirmed. However, miHoYo did announce the new update would concern Zhongli (who works for Hu Tao at the Wangsheng Funeral Parlor) and would introduce much-needed buffs to Zhongli’s stats. The Geo Element will also be getting some changes in 1.3, which will affect most – if not all – Geo users currently in the game. All of this could point toward Hu Tao and Xiao being the newest playable characters in Genshin Impact, even though they just remain rumors for now.

So far, the release date for Version 1.3 has been listed as February 2021, but miHoYo updates the game in six-week intervals, so the 1.3 content should release on February 3rd, 2021, based on that schedule. The update will be available for PC, mobile, and PlayStation Genshin Impact users. A trailer or livestream is expected sometime in the next two weeks, so fans will hopefully know more about Genshin Impact Version 1.3, and all of its new content, then.
