Teen soap Gossip Girl is a fan favorite television series for many reasons, particularly all the fashionable moments. These characters lived in New York, and they were always attending school functions, parties, runway shows, dances and other glamorous events. Therefore, they were always wearing super stylish and memorable outfits.

While Jenny Humphrey was not everyone’s favorite person, she did have a very unique look. It evolved over the years, as she went from Little J to queen of the Met steps to an outcast, and the 10 outfits that are listed out down below were her best.

10 Vest & Tie

Since Jenny did attend a private school, some of her outfits were a bit preppy. However, she also accessorized them in a really funky and edgy way, as seen here. There is a white shirt, and there are some navy shorts. On top, there is a leather studded vest, along with a loose-fitting tie. She always piled on lots of jewelry and carried a big ol’ purse, as well. And this is certainly an outfit that stands out to the viewer.

9 Yellow Coat

Another preppy Jenny outfit is this fabulous yellow coat. It can get quite cold in New York, so lots of lovely layers were seen on this television series, especially from this character. She is wearing her school uniform, along with tights and a headband…and everyone else on the steps accessorized like that, too, to copy Blair, the Queen B (though not for long). The main attraction, though, is this trench in its pretty and fun color.

8 Brown Plaid Dress

Here is an additional way that Jenny made outfits her own in the best way possible. This is a brown plaid dress that could have been worn by any of the girls at her school, and each character would have styled it in a different and fabulous way. For Jenny, that meant adding a layer of pink underneath the skirt.

This was before her full transition into lots of dark and dramatic looks, but it still has a sort of emo feel to it. Most of all, though, it is just a cute and memorable touch that must be mentioned on this list.

7 Checkered & Beanie

This checkered dress is one that everyone surely remembers, especially since Jenny paired it with a beanie. The dress itself is pretty great, with its colors, print and fit, but the personalized touches take it to the next level. As usual, there is a good amount of jewelry, a bag, and dark makeup. The slouchy hat makes for a cool cherry on top.

Yes, there is lots of attitude in this photo…but there is a great style, as well. It’s a style that fans remember, even after all of these years.

6 Ruffles & Stripes

Similarly, there was this ruffled dress. It was also done in black and white, and featued a playful print (stripes this time). And it was also accessorized to the max. Jenny wore black tights, black shoes, and a black cardigan. On her head, she had a flower, which went along nicely with the ruffles in her dress; it was a good mix of a sweetheart style and edgy elements and was perfect for her big night.

5 Sunglasses & Fishnet

Next up is another notable moment. This is when Little J really changed into a totally different person, so she needed an outfit that would tell the world about her evolution.

Once again, there are basic pieces that have been amped up in a variety of ways. The leather jacket showed that she was tough; the sunglasses, that she was cool; the jewelry, that she was trendy. But most of all, the fishnet stockings showed that she was done with the Blair look and ready for something more, something out of the ordinary that involved her being in charge.

4 Gold & Leather

Jenny also rocked a leather jacket at a party, when this gold babydoll dress made its debut. The dress on its own is a great piece. That cut is super cute, especially on a young woman, and the sparkly color was a smart choice for the festive evening. The accessories (including the red shoes for a real pop) and the outer layer all give it that Jenny Humphrey vibe, cementing this look on the list.

3 Gold & Spikes

On a similar note, there was this gold dress with this black outer layer. This one is even more on-brand, since it does not have sweet touches — only edgy and dramatic ones. It fully says “IDC” (her outfit and her face), giving off effortless style.

The dress is short and tight. The cardigan is long and loose. Together, they display both sides of this character’s style. The long blonde hair extensions, the chunky shoes, and the black purse with spikes on it may not be everyone’s cup of tea. But for Jenny, they worked perfectly.

2 Gray Plaid & Knee-Highs

It is time for the top two Jenny Humphrey looks, and they both have several things in common.

The first one is another short and fitted dress with lots of fun added elements. This plaid coat is too fabulous, from the fit and the print to the texture. Then, Jenny went for knee-high boots and some more fishnet hose. Once again, she is giving us gray grunge, but it is all very New York chic as well.

Okay, here it is… the number-one look from Miss Jenny Humphrey.

Yes, it is this gray winter ensemble, which also has an over-sized coat and shows off her long and lean legs. There is another fabulous coat, as well as a scarf, a beanie, and gloves (which are all functional and fabulous). There is a purse that may be her biggest ever, covered in studs. Then, Jenny has on a lace-printed pair of tights for even more interest. Overall, it is just so her, so memorable and so Gossip Girl.
