You Are Reading :Grace & Frankie 10 Questions We Have For Season 7
While fans will have to wait until 2021 for Season 7 of Grace and Frankie, thankfully, there will be a Season 7. This unique show featured two unlikely best friends who go through many challenges together, only to end up stronger. In time, the two created a business that helped older women embrace sexuality and pleasure. Grace and Frankie proved that their third act would be one of innovation, spunk, romance, and friendship.
Their families also have had ups and downs, life changes, and new friendships. Season 6 left viewers with questions as did the other seasons. Here are 10 questions that hopefully will be answered in Season 7.
10 Will There Be More Babe Sightings?
Introduced in Season 2, Babe originally comes to Frankie with a hard request. Knowing that she’s dying, she wants to have a big party and then die in her own chosen way. She asks Frankie to help her, and later, she asks Grace to support her. Babe is a light; she’s adventurous. Interestingly, she’s the only mutual friend that Grace and Frankie have from before. In that sense, she provides a type of connective tissue to their past and to each other.
It’s no surprise that Babe’s spirit is still around. When Grace is under the influence of “bathroom-made” gin at the ashram in Season 5, she sees Babe, who gives her words of wisdom. Afterwards, Frankie also sees Babe, to which Frankie casually says, “What are you doing here? It’s not Tuesday.” This shows that Babe comes to visit Frankie often; so will there be more sightings?
9 How Invested Will Barry Be In His Bio-Kid?
A big arc for Brianna, aside from admitting that she loved Barry, was supporting him in his decision to let his friend and her wife use his sperm to have a child. While he won’t be a father in the traditional sense, Barry would want to be in his bio-kid’s life as much as he could. He’s already the guardian, a responsibility that he fully accepts.
Brianna has been uncomfortable with this, but still, she has supported it, albeit reluctantly. What happens once the baby becomes a part of their lives?
8 Will Grace Stay Married to Nick?
Grace has doubted her choice to marry Nick, thinking that maybe she did it too quickly, and she also misses living with Frankie. They stayed partners and best friends, but it wasn’t quite the same as being roommates. However, at the end of Season 6, Nick is arrested for tax evasion and securities fraud.
With their separation being so extreme, will they stay together? Nick tells Grace not to give up on him yet, but will she?
7 Will Frankie & Grace Use Nick’s Money for Rise Up?
Before Nick leaves, he tells Grace to sit on the couch she hates so much and then she’ll figure out how to rise up. All of the season, the couch has been a reminder of Grace’s age as it is uncomfortable and hard to get up from. When she complained about it to Nick, he still kept the couch.
After she confides in Frankie what Nick told her, Frankie (amateur sleuth) does some cutting and finds that the couch is filled with money. Both are excited, thinking that they can use it to start-up their new invention, Rise Up, a toilet that rises up to help older adults get off it safely. However, knowing Nick’s history, it seems unlikely that this money is clean. Will they still use it?
6 Will Jacob or Jack Come Back for Frankie?
Frankie tries to juggle Jacob and Jack, her two love interests, without telling them. Of course, it didn’t go well because Frankie is scattered on her best days.
When the two find out about it, they both are unhappy. Jacob and Jack both leave Frankie, and at the end of Season 6, Frankie is alone. In Season 7, will one of these romantic interests come back or will Frankie have a new love interest?
5 Will Mallory Move to San Francisco for the New Job?
When Brianna rejected the supervisor position in San Francisco because she wanted to stay close with Barry, Mallory took it. This would mean that Mallory and her four children would move to San Francisco. But how it that going to work? For one, Mitch is their father, and it appears that they share custody. In that case, he would have to be involved and be part of the deciding factor.
Also, she would be juggling a new job while taking care of her four children without the resources and connections of home. If anyone can do it, Mallory can, but it still seems like it would be challenging.
4 How Will Mallory & Brianna’s Relationship Change?
Brianna, as the big sister, bossed Mallory around. She didn’t always treat her sister with respect (or a salary), and still expected Mallory to do what she was told to do. On top of this, Brianna is used to being the one in charge. Now that Mallory will be her supervisor, how will Brianna adjust to it?
No doubt, there will be friction between the two sisters, and this friction could become a major storyline in Season 7.
3 Will Allison & Coyote Ever Get Along?
When Bud tried to convince his wife and brother to become friends or at least to get along, it didn’t work. The only thing that Allison and Coyote could agree on was that they would never be close even though both loved Bud.
Now that Coyote met his birth mother and felt rejected, they may have a little in common since Allison is constantly rejected by her father. This could provide a space for the two to connect and support each other.
2 Will We Ever Find Out About Mallory & Coyote’s Past?
Prior to the start of the show, the audience learns that Coyote came to Mallory’s house when he was on drugs, shouting, “Mal, don’t marry Mitch. It doesn’t have to be me, just don’t marry Mitch.” This suggests that the two were once romantic.
Now that Coyote is set to marry Jessica, and Mallory is alone–could this come up again? It’s a question that has never really been answered, and fans are curious.
1 How Will Grace, Frankie, Robert, & Sol Live Together?
At the end of Season 6, Robert and Sol are forced to stay with Grace and Frankie at the beach house. Since their house flooded due to a malfunctioning “Rise-Up” toilet, and they’re tight on money, they really have no other place to go.
It looks like Grace and Frankie are going to let them stay at the beach house, too. While this roommate-situation will be temporary until Robert and Sol’s house is fixed, it will prove to be hilarious. How will the four work as roommates? What fights and alliances will they have? Fans are eager to find out in Season 7.
