Popular Twitch streamer Felix “xQc” Lengyel has been permanently banned from the Grand Theft Auto: V Online role-playing server NoPixel, according to the streamer himself. Although the game has remained popular thanks to Rockstar’s consistent content updates, GTA Online has seen a massive resurgence in players thanks to the NoPixel server 3.0 update in February this year, which even caught the attention of famous stars such as Travis Scott, Kevin Durant, and LeBron James.

Seemingly a homing beacon for controversy, xQc is no stranger to being banned or suspended from various platforms online. The streamer previously received an account suspension and a six-month ban from participating in Twitch Rivals events after being caught “stream sniping” fellow streamer DrLupo during a Fall Guys tournament. Besides that, Lengyel also received numerous suspensions during his time as a professional player in Blizzard’s Overwatch League and is part of only 0.006% of players to behave negatively enough to receive a permanent ban from Riot Games’ MOBA, League of Legends.

During a live stream on Twitch earlier today, xQc finally confirmed previous rumors of being permanently banned from the GTA Online RP server. During the stream, Lengyel admitted that he felt he deserved the ban and did not deserve another chance on the server due to the leniency previously given to him by NoPixel admins. He further stated that he was not upset about the ban and that he would be moving on from the game, adding, “I’m gonna miss it a lot cause it’s all I care about, but it is what it is.”

This seemingly permanent ban from the NoPixel server is certainly not xQc’s first, being the fifth time the streamer has been banned thus far. The cause for Lengyel’s latest ban was due to him killing streamer PENTA in-game randomly, which is considered against the server’s rules, as players can only attack others if there is prior roleplaying leading up to the altercation. At the time of the incident, PENTA stated firmly that he would not be reporting the incident due to concerns about negative repercussions from xQc’s large fanbase, who have been known to frequently harass other GTA Online RP streamers en masse.

Although GTA Online RP can be an entertaining experience for both viewers and streamers, NoPixel has been a continual source of drama and toxicity for its residents, especially so in the case of xQc. However, this is perhaps an expected consequence of streamers with big personalities coming together. Although xQc seems serious about his departure from the role-playing server, the leniency previously given to the streamer could mean that fans could very well see Lengyel up to his usual mischief in Los Santos once more, should he change his mind.
