There are 100 gang tags for players to spray paint over in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, which is included in Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition. Finding every gang tag can be a daunting task, but there are benefits to completing this collection. Players will need to travel around all of Los Santos to find and spray over every gang tag in San Andreas.

Players will first be introduced to gang tags in the GTA: San Andreas mission “Tagging Up Turf.” CJ’s brother will give him a mission to use a spray can to paint over a rival gang’s tag. In Idlewood, Sweet will show CJ how to cover up a gang tag with the Grove Street Family’s spray. Players will then go to East Los Santos to complete more gang tags before escaping some angry Ballas and going back to Grove Street.

Once the “Tagging Up Turf” side mission in San Andreas is completed, players will be able to cover up gang tags while free-roaming. A spray can will also be available in the Johnson house after the mission concludes. Players can use the spray can to paint over the remaining 94 gang tags that are located on walls, buildings, and behind foliage around Los Santos.
