Disney+’s Hawkeye has showcased plenty of Clint’s trick arrows, many of which are inspired by the comics. But the other heroes of the Marvel Cinematic Universe could also provide alternative innovative ideas when designing Hawkeye’s arrows. What’s more, there are plenty of other options from the source material that are still yet to make an appearance.

As Hawkeye progresses there’s still a chance that some of these arrows could show up in some capacity. Kate Bishop will continue on as the resident archer after the series, and she could bring a number of her own concepts to the table to be utilized in combat.

Pym Shrinking Arrow

Fans have already seen Hawkeye administer an arrow which causes objects to grow in size. He masterfully used this alongside Kate Bishop in order to create a giant arrow. But that’s not the only available Pym tech that Clint Barton could be using.

There are also discs that allow the user to shrink things as well. It could easily be one of Hawkeye’s best weapons if he was to use this tech on one of his arrows, as he could shrink everything from pursuing vehicles to a criminal’s gun with relative ease. Visually it would be a pretty fun gadget to bring into play.

Stark Laser Arrow

Tony Stark has a lot of technology that Hawkeye could steal from. Kate Bishop is the kind of badass archer who might actually be able to put some of those creations to good use. Iron Man has used a red laser in battle countless times; one which can seemingly cut through anything.

If an arrow was fired that shot this laser from its tip, it could have dire consequences for anyone standing in the way. It would certainly be a unique modification for the tech, but one that could come in handy especially when trying to cut through indestructible doors.

Sonic Arrow

Klaue has showcased some of the sonic weaponry he has in his arsenal which can disrupt the Black Panther suit and by extension, Vibranium. He developed the tech when he was mining for the rare substance, but it’s something that Clint might be able to use himself.

If an arrow could give out a sonic blast much in the same way, then he would have a method of combating against Vibranium. It’s a substance that is showing up more and more, and Barton would certainly appreciate having this trick in his back pocket.

Speed Arrow

Super speed is a power that has rarely been explored in the MCU. Quicksilver and Makkari are the two resident speedsters, but there’s a possibility that this kind of ability could actually be applied to some of Hawkeye’s equipment.

A super-fast arrow, which utilizes the same kinds of speeds that a speedster might be familiar with, is sure to be useful in battle. It would be impossible to catch and demonstrate Clint’s continued evolution from his initial appearance, as an homage to his late friend.

Boxing Glove Arrow

The boxing glove arrow is actually something that Green Arrow comic book fans would be familiar with. The weapon isn’t commonly associated with Hawkeye, but it would be a hilarious link between Marvel and DC if fans were to get to see the comedy object on the screen.

It doesn’t have too much of an impact in terms of its practicality, although it has been known to knock out some thugs in the past. Ultimately, its conclusion would definitely be as a piece of fan service, rather than utilizing the arrow in a serious way.

Freeze Arrow

In the comics, Hawkeye has also been known to play with the elements. While a flame arrow is very similar to the explosives he has used throughout his big-screen career, a freeze arrow is unlike anything audiences have seen him fire before.

It can freeze an opponent instantly, sending out an icy cold layer of water that hardens on impact. It could be used for all manner of situations and would have even been perfect when trying to fight off the Ultron bots or Chitauri.

Whistling Arrow

There’s one arrow that appears to rival that of Hawkeye’s collection in the MCU and it’s not one that Kate Bishop owns. Yondu’s whistling arrow doesn’t require a bow and can be controlled through vocal cues. It’s a dangerous piece of kit if it falls into the wrong hands.

Kate or Clint could become the ultimate archer if either of them were gifted with the piece, instead of Kraglin. Perhaps the fin’s technology can be crafted into the archer’s bow so that neither one has to wear the object on their head. It’s one of the least likely inclusions out of these options though.

Web Arrow

One of the biggest differences between the Clint Barton of the comics and the MCU is that Hawkeye turns to his friends for help with his arrows on the page. It’s only the recent use of Pym technology that has really showcased Clint’s ability to think outside of the box.

There are so many heroes who could lend their expertise including Spider-Man. His web-shooters can easily be applied to Hawkeye’s arrows in order to create a variety of gadgets. Whether it’s a web grenade or a more linear capture device, there are no limits on what the duo could achieve.

Vibranium Arrow

Hawkeye 10 Trick Arrows From The Comics We Want To See

In regards to Vibranium, if Hawkeye was able to gain some of the terrific substance, he would have an arrow that could really shoot through anything. It’s one of the most dangerous metals in all of existence and can rarely be countered or defended against.

A Vibranium arrow would give Clint and Kate a significant advantage, as it tears through armors and other seemingly unbreakable objects. They would be precious arrows though so the duo would have to ensure they always collect them after use.

Boomerang Arrow

The comics have seen Hawkeye use plenty of ridiculous gadgets and the boomerang arrow is amongst the silliest. As the name suggests this is an arrow that will come back to its owner after use; unless something disrupts its trajectory.

Although it may do less damage than a traditional arrow, there’s is an almost infinite supply of this device, which is definitely useful when Hawkeye’s back is up against the wall. The character runs out of arrows far too often; this would solve that problem.
