Rather than the typical high school male jock, Netflix’s brand new gender-swapped remake of ’90s rom-com She’s All That, appropriately named He’s All That, follows a teenage social media influencer. Given the modern day take on the classic makeover movie, one could easily make connections to the current influx of interest in astrology.

The characters in He’s All That never directly disclose their birthdays in the movie. However, some character traits can easily represent each zodiac sign in their own unique ways.

12 Aries – Jordan

Being the most childlike of the zodiac, it would make sense that Jordan is an Aries. He is immature and makes fiery decisions, like bringing the girl he cheated on Padgett with to Quinn’s party or snapping at his friends for not recording him, all without considering the consequences of his actions.

Though Jordan might be a villain in the story, his lesson to be learned is that there’s always room to grow and improve. Plus, there is something very likable about every Aries – Jordan is an internet sensation and did win prom king, after all.

11 Taurus – Principal Bosch

Original She’s All That cast member Matthew Lillard took on a small but hilarious role in the remake. Like a true Taurus, Principal Bosch knows exactly what he likes and tells it like it is. He’s not afraid to put his opinion on full display, as shown through his interactions with the students during the prom scene.

Even though he’s a stereotypical, stubborn, middle-aged man, Principal Bosch’s character is hard to not enjoy – unlike some of Matthew Lillard’s other characters – thanks to his witty and snide commentary throughout the movie via his school announcements.

10 Gemini – Nisha

Sometimes Geminis get a bad reputation, but in reality, they are some of the most fun of the zodiac signs. As an air sign, Geminis are quick-witted and adaptable, oftentimes making them hilarious people who are exciting to be around. Nisha can easily be described this way as well.

Throughout the movie, Nisha proves continually that she is down for anything, such as when she agrees to go to Quinn’s party even though Cameron doesn’t want to. Nisha starts off as Cameron’s extroverted-introvert of a best friend then shifts into Quinn’s love interest, which is a total win for teenage LGBTQ+ audience members. Nisha’s versatility represents the duality of Geminis.

9 Cancer – Brin

Brin is someone who makes genuine connections with the characters she interacts with throughout the movie. Cancers are known for making deep connections with their friends and family, which is the entire crux of Brin’s character. She immediately befriends Padgett during their first interaction, and her closeness with her brother Cameron is quite telling of her emotional value on loved ones.

Of all the He’s All That characters, Brin is perhaps the most in touch with her feelings, like that of many cancers. She even lets herself be emotionally vulnerable during her touching scene with Cameron in which they discuss how life has changed since the passing of their mother.

8 Leo – Alden

Leos are known for being the most egotistical of the zodiac, being that they are represented by the sun and often need to feel like the center of attention. This is evidently true for Alden, a stereotypical high school movie mean girl who makes it clear how desperately she needs to become prom queen.

Alden hates when the spotlight isn’t on her. She is so jealous of Padgett’s popularity that she will do anything to gain a larger following, whether that be walking around with a crowd of her own personal cheerleaders or getting with Padgett’s ex-boyfriend Jordan. Though Leos can be self-absorbed, there is absolutely nothing wrong with self-love, so long as it doesn’t manifest as hate toward others like in Alden’s case.

7 Virgo – Anna

Rachael Leigh Cook, the original star of She’s All That, makes an iconic appearance in the modern day remake as Padgett’s mother, Anna. She is introduced as a nurse, which is fitting for Virgos as they are the natural helpers of the zodiac.

What’s more, Anna is a great communicator who gives advice to Padgett when she needs it most. She keeps it real and can easily be described as down to earth, of course making her an earth sign.

6 Libra – Padgett

Libras are considered the friendliest of zodiac signs. Most Libras can get along with anyone thanks to their extroverted personalities, which is definitely true for Padgett. Being an online influencer, she is of course adored by many fans, which proves she is easily likable.

Plus, even though she started hanging around Cameron as a bet, their chemistry is undeniable despite their differences in cliques. Padgett quickly becomes friends with Cameron’s friends too, proving how sociable she is no matter the group of people.

5 Scorpio – Cameron

Scorpios tend to have a dark and mysterious energy to them. Take Cameron for example – he likes to keep to himself and doesn’t want anyone to crack the shell he hides in. Scorpios are headstrong about their interests and tend to be quite passionate about what they enjoy, like the way Cameron is into photography and horses.

While Scorpios like to put on a tough act, they are still water signs. This means that they have a deeply emotional side, but they tend to reserve it to preserve their badass appearance. Cameron eventually lets his sympathetic nature shine through and even lets Padgett give him a makeover to show he cares for her.

The famous Kourtney Kardashian makes a notable cameo in He’s All That as a fellow influencer in charge of Padgett’s sponsorship. Her character, Jessica, is all about money first. She thinks more with her wallet than with her heart, one undeniable trait of most Capricorns.

Jessica is only interested in Padgett when she’s getting clout online that meets her high standards. Though she may seem a bit cold-hearted, Jessica comes from a practical, business-oriented mindset. Capricorns tend to take their career very seriously, which can be both beneficial and detrimental at times.

2 Aquarius – Celeste

Although she has a minor part in the story, Celeste is perhaps the most individual and unique character, reflecting that of an Aquarius. Even with just a few lines, it’s clear that Celeste is driven by pushing the social narrative forward to a more progressive place.

Even based on appearances alone, one can tell that Celeste doesn’t follow societal norms. She ends up winning prom queen via write in votes, which is quite a revolutionary thing to happen to someone and fitting for an Aquarius.

1 Pisces – Sebastian Woo

Being the oldest of the zodiac, those who are Pisces tend to be rather wise souls. Take Sebastian Woo for example – audiences meet him as he is instructing other students in a science lesson, establishing him as perhaps one of the smartest kids in school.

Though viewers don’t see too much of him, what they do see shows that Sebastian is liked by the general student population enough to get onto prom court. This suggests that he is caring to others, as a sympathetic Pisces would be. This is especially evident when he recites a poem to Cameron, praising him for standing up against Jordan.
