Chespin is one of the new Pokemon that has arrived in Pokemon Go. This guide will show where players can find and capture it. Chespin is 1 of the 3 starter Pokemon available in Pokemon X and Y for the Nintendo 3DS. This game acted as the first full-fledged 3D Pokemon title and has set the standard moving forward for future titles. Players would explore the Kalos region to find all of the new Pokemon available and aim to collect all 8 gym badges to become the champion. Alongside the release of Kalos Pokemon in Pokemon Go, players were treated with an increase to the total level cap. Originally, players were able to only level up to 40 but now with the “Go Beyond” update, that cap has been raised to 50. Beyond level 40 features new challenges for players to complete in order to level up to the next number. One of the big experience boosts comes with capturing new Pokemon from far off regions. How To Find (& Catch) Chespin in Pokemon Go
Chespin is one of the few Kalos Pokemon available in the game right now. The rest will be released in a future update. To capture Chespin, there are two different ways to obtain it. Here’s every possible method to find Chespin.
- Locate It in The Wild: Players can stumble across Chespin while exploring the world. To increase its chances of spawning, equip either an Incense item or a PokeStop Lure to cause more Pokemon to spawn. It’s completely up to chance if it will appear but considering how new it is, it will appear fairly often.
- Eggs: Chespin will now appear in 5km eggs. Make sure to put only the most recent eggs you’ve collected inside of the incubators. Any other egg found beforehand will not contain a Chespin.
The rest of the sixth generation Pokemon will appear as part of a future update. Soon, Pokemon Go will catch up to the mainline series with the amount of Pokemon available. Pokemon Go will be the ultimate test if players can capture them all. It’s still one of the most enjoyable mobile titles out there.
