Hyper Scape Hack Guide Compliment Your Play Style

Hyper Scape has a unique system for building your character’s loadout in every game. These 9 Hack abilities are a way to customize your character each and every round to fit your playstyle. There are both offensive and defensive Hacks, and some that can be both depending on how you use them. Mastering these Hacks is a huge key to success in the battlefield. In this guide we’ll be covering each Hack, the available upgrades, the best way to use them, and their individual combo potential.

Choosing And Upgrading Hacks

Hacks are unique abilities that can be equipped simply by finding one scattered around the world and interacting with it. You can have 2 Hacks equipped at any time and they can be exchanged freely with any other Hack simply by holding the interact button and pressing the corresponding button of the Hack you want to replace. Like weapons, Hacks can be upgraded 4 times. Each upgrade decreases the cooldown of the ability and, for some, the final upgrade will also increase a secondary stat.

While every Hack has it’s uses, it’s important to consider your play style and strengths. High mobility Hacks like Teleport and Slam can help you chase down opponents with close-range attacks like the Mammoth, while Wall and Armor can help you play safe and keep enemies from quickly overwhelming you. Much of Hack selection comes down to personal preference, but it’s important to consider your playstyle and lean into a strategy that is complemented by your Hacks.

Leap

Leap sends you flying up into the air, hovering momentarily and then crashing down. When you land, anyone in a wide radius will be temporarily stunned and popped up into the air. Enemies will take 30 damage.

The key to using Leap offensively is to follow up with an attack while the enemy is airborne. The Mammoth shotgun is the ideal weapon for a follow up attack. You are also briefly stunned after a leap, so don’t leap into multiple opponents unless your team is there to support. The upgrade path for Leap is:

Cooldown (seconds): 10; 9; 8; 7; 5

Damage: 30; 30; 30; 30; 45

You can also cancel out of Leap by firing your gun, making it an excellent way to escape to high ground.

Teleport

Teleport is a fantastic tool for both chasing and escaping. Teleport will only take you forward in a straight line, but you can teleport in any direction you’re facing, including straight up. You cannot teleport through solid objects, however, so make sure you have a clear line of site in the direction you want to go. The upgrade path for Teleport is:

Cooldown (seconds): 12; 11; 10; 9; 7

Staying mobile and unpredictable gives you a huge advantage in Hyper Scape. Even though Teleport seems simple, it’s a powerful tool for keeping high ground, escaping danger and chasing down weak opponents. Use it frequently and master the timing and distance of the teleport.

Ball

Ball is one of the trickiest and most fun Hacks to use. While it offers very little protection, an uncontested player can stay in the ball for 3 minutes. It’s a great tool for moving across the map quickly if you need to escape a closing zone, and it can provide a quick way to get to high ground with a bit of a defensive advantage. You can attack to cancel the ball and start dealing damage immediately. The upgrade path for Ball is:

Cooldown (seconds): 12; 11; 10; 9; 7

Ball can bounce repeatedly for extra height, and if you cancel out of the ball by firing or ADS, you will continue your momentum in whichever direction the ball was traveling.

Armor

Armor provides 10 seconds of invulnerability. You cannot use any guns while Armor is active, but you can cancel out of Armor with any attack. It is best used to take heavy damage from a Skybreaker or Shotgun so that you can turn on the enemy when they need to reload. You can also use it to close the distance on a sniper or simply to get away and regroup with your team. The upgrade path for Armor is:

Cooldown (seconds): 12; 11; 10; 9; 7

Heal

Heal drops a destructible item with a wide radius that heals your team members that are inside it. It’s a great tool to drop when you start a fight inside a landmark or to recover quickly after escaping. It requires you to stand within the radius to benefit from, but there is plenty of room to move around. However, it will not provide healing if you are more than a double jump above the area. The upgrade path for Heal is:

Cooldown (seconds): 10; 9; 8; 7; 5

Additionally, at max level the effect of Heal will double.

Reveal

Reveal is a quick scan that marks enemies in front of you with an arrow. It’s most useful when used to track enemies inside buildings and to counter invisible enemies. The upgrade path for Reveal is:

Cooldown (seconds): 14; 13; 12; 11; 9

Invisibility

Invisibility makes you completely invisible for 10 seconds. While invisible you can’t attack, but shooting or aiming down sights will cancel the ability. It’s a fantastic tool for escaping enemies, especially if your team is dead and needs to be recovered. The upgrade path for Invisibility is:

Cooldown (seconds): 12; 11; 10; 9; 7

Mine

Mine drops a bomb that seeks out enemies within its radius and explodes on them, dealing 50 damage. It will not seek out enemies that are significantly above or below the position it’s placed at. The upgrade path for Mine is:

Cooldown (seconds): 10; 9; 8; 7; 5

Damage: 50; 50; 50; 50; 75

The trick to using the mine is to place is to hold the activating button and place it either below you or above you where players are fighting. You can also use it inside while being chased to bait players into taking damage. It’s important to follow up a Mine trap with additional damage to finish off your opponent as they will typically run away after taking such heavy damage.

Wall

Wall instantly builds a massive wall with 250 health. You can place the wall under your feet and it will raise you up to take high ground, or use it to block ranged attacks from snipers and rocket launchers. The upgrade path for Wall is:

Cooldown (seconds): 10; 9; 8; 7; 5

You can have a maximum of 5 walls out at a time and walls can stack on top of each other. It’s possible to reach really insane heights by repeatedly stacking walls higher and higher. This is a great way to quickly make a sniping vantage point.
