Alana Paolucci has taken to social media to address the end of her relationship with Charlie Lynch and support the idea of a televised reunion special for Love Island USA season 3. As the season was nearing its end, Alana came into the Love Island villa as a last-minute addition along with newbies Bailey Marshall and Elly Steffen. On TV, viewers were introduced to Alana as a 28-year-old model from New York City.
Despite being a very late addition to Love Island USA who came into the villa on day 26, Alana quickly bonded with the islanders and developed a relationship with Charlie. As a couple, Alana and Charlie beat the odds and got to the grand finale. However, there was a lot of doubt in regards to the future of Charlie and Alana together, which prompted them to place fourth in the finale. In the weeks following the finale, it became evident that Alana and Charlie had already broken up outside the villa.
Now, Alana is taking some time to clarify things even further for the Love Island USA fans. As seen in the screenshots below, Alana did a recent Instagram Q&A session that featured many fans writing in their questions for her. One follower asked if there was a reason why Love Island USA season 3 didn’t have a reunion special. “That would honestly be so fun,” Alana responded, “because so much has changed in such a short amount of time. But we’re all still friends, and it’s been fun… I mean, for the most part.” When asked if she was avoiding questions about Charlie, Alana replied: “We’re not together, we’re just friends, and that is it.”
Later, a fan asked if Alana had already watched Love Island USA season 3 back to see how things were portrayed on TV. She explained, “No, and I don’t really plan on it, either. I just… what am I gonna gain, you know?” As per usual, Alana’s responses were very straightforward and came off as being genuine and confident. She doesn’t seem to have a problem with Charlie aside from the fact that they’ve broken up outside the villa. She’s also managed to mostly stay out of any drama with her co-stars, which probably has contributed to them staying friends.
It is very unlikely that a reunion for Love Island USA season 3 will happen. Even in the UK, this series hasn’t been known for doing reunions. Furthermore, it is now too far out since the season ended for CBS to produce a new episode.
