Loving the yummy-looking Pokémon dishes from the recently released Pokémon Café Mix? Interested in recreating some of these goodies on your own? Well if you’re looking to make some delicious sandwiches that look exactly like Dugtrio, then you have to check out this video tutorial on exactly how to get your own “Dugtrio Sandwich Trio”!

Kurashiru is a Japanese food app that often posts short video recipes for dishes of all kinds. But in their most recent upload, the team showed viewers how to recreate the “Dugtrio Sandwich Trio” from Pokémon Café Mix. The video can be seen online on the app’s official Twitter account (@kurashiru0119).

The video recipe is only 45 seconds long, but it walks through the entirety of the sandwich-making process:

Begin by cutting a tomato into slices. Then cook some bacon. Next, grab some bread (for the Dugtrio, you’ll need six slices, each a different size to replicate the Pokémon’s look) and wrap each slice in tinfoil, but leave two little eye-shaped holes on the slices that will be the top of your sandwich, so the bread can burn just in those two eye-marked spots. Next, fill your sandwich with mayo, mustard, lettuce, cooked bacon, cheese, and tomatoes. For Dugtrio’s nose, simply use a sliced cherry tomato and stick it right underneath the “eyes.”

Though the instructions in the recipe are in Japanese, it’s very easy to follow given the helpful visuals of the video.

Kurashiru isn’t the only group getting in on the trend of recreating Pokémon Café Mix recipes in real life. Just recently, a talented baker who goes by the handle @EverydayBewear on Twitter uploaded some images of some mouthwatering Eevee pancakes, based on the “Fluffy Eevee Pancakes” recipe from the game. They even uploaded a recipe so any interested fans could make their own pancakes too.

First the Dugtrio Sandwich Trio and now the Fluffy Eevee Pancakes – wonder what the next IRL Pokémon Café Mix recipe will be?

Pokémon Café Mix is currently available for the Nintendo Switch and iOS and Android mobile devices. Both versions of the game are currently free to play.
