Collecting materials along each hunt is imperative for your growth as a hunter in Monster Hunter Rise. While components salvaged straight from the kill can often be crafted into new armor, the bounty of other useful materials you can harvest while out on a hunt doesn’t only come from the targets themselves. There’s a wide array of flora and fauna you can gather and catch to suit a plethora of purposes. Not to mention the vast amount of tools and other trinkets available from local and visiting vendors in Kamura village, a perfect opportunity for a hunter to replenish their stocks.
The list of materials may seem endless, even to a seasoned hunter, but not to worry. We have taken the trouble to gather them all here in one place. The only category omitted in this article is the selection of coins that can all be earned through different ranks in the Arena. So without further ado, let’s get started.
Exclusive Monster Materials
These are materials that can only be obtained from one specific corresponding monster such as Izuchi Tails, Anteka Antlers, and the like. Many of these materials are needed to craft monster-themed sets like the Lagombi Armor set, or to work your way down particular branches on various weapon trees.
General Monster Materials
These materials can be salvaged from multiple different monsters, making them slightly easier to stock up on, compared to monster-exclusive materials.
Bones
Various monster bones and other archeological remains can be found scattered across the different regional hunts, so remember to take some time to dig through old bone piles while on each hunt.
Ores And Jewels
The many different ores and jewels are also scattered across the various maps, so set aside time for mining as well.
Fish And Insects
Fish and Insects are some of the passive fauna that exists in the game, often offering the hunter various perks or alternative options during the hunt. Fish can be intercepted while they dip and dive across water while bugs are often found on trees or rock faces.
Plants
Taking notice of your surroundings as you blaze across the different terrain, you will spot all sorts of different plant species, depending on what map you are exploring. Many plants are widely indigenous to several regions, making them the easiest ones to stock up on. This list will help you pinpoint those along with the more elusive varieties.
Scraps
Scraps are used to make Buddy Gear and can be swapped out with the Buddy Smith or Meowcenaries.
Miscellaneous
Miscellaneous items are just as they sound, and may aid in a variety of ways. While some can be found across the maps, they are typically attainable at the market or with vendors in the Buddy Plaza.
Tickets And Quest Materials
And finally, we have the various tickets and quests materials. It goes without saying quests materials are generally obtained through quests, while tickets may be randomly rewarded by different townsfolk for your deeds around the village or for partaking in Rampage quests.
