Lauren is a massive Pirates of the Caribbean fan, but she actively displays her love for other series and franchises. Pokémon just so happens to be one of them, as depicted above courtesy of her adorable Sylveon cosplay.
According to Lauren, she still hasn’t tried on her full Sylveon outfit, though we can already tell it’ll be stellar. The Generation VI Fairy-type creature is one of Eevee’s many evolutions. Its pink, blue, and white color scheme automatically makes it cute beyond belief and this cosplay fits the bill.

Arcanine has been AlchemicalWolf’s favorite Pokémon since Gen 1 and, like most of us, she wishes she could cuddle with one of these loyal pups in real life. Since that’s physically impossible, she resorted to the next best thing, which is cosplaying the iconic Fire-type canine.
This cosplay was entirely crafted by AlchemicalWolf and the design as a whole was created by TygarLily. The ensemble is equal parts unique and fierce. The red cape and the sword might be unexpected additions, but they work well with the overall look.

Armored Mewtwo was HoyzaCoz’s first full armor build, though he has officially retired the cosplay as per the Instagram caption above. The costume was made of cardboard and craft foam, which makes the attention to detail even more impressive.
Armored Mewtwo became a hot topic of discussion among Pokémon GO players after the legendary creature was added to the mobile game in 2019. This look established HoyzaCoz’s remarkable crafting skills and introduced him to the world of cosplay in general.

Charizard is arguably the second most popular Pokémon of all time after Pikachu himself. However, its imposing character design means it’s not the easiest monster to cosplay. Olivia Mears (aka @avantgeek) accepted the challenge and replicated Charizard’s look with intricate details and massive wings.
Staying true to the Fire-type dragon’s aesthetic, Olivia donned a flaming red wig. The horns on her shoulders and the scales that adorn the wings and the torso propel this cosplay to the next level. We wouldn’t expect any less from a Charizard fan.

Cubone’s backstory is so tragic that we can’t help but feel bad for the poor little Pokémon. They cry for a mother they’ll never see again and wear her skull as a helmet. Talk about mommy issues.
Chris_Concept took a breather from his terrifying Silent Hill cosplay to dress up as the distressed Pokémon. Things took a turn during the holiday season when Chris added two small Santa hats to make Cubone’s skull helmet a bit more festive. Chris apparently “just winged it” with this costume, but the resulting look was compelling nonetheless.

Charizard and Blastoise are two fan favorites from Gen 1. Johnathan (@dorncosplay) couldn’t decide which Pokémon to cosplay, so he made costumes for both. As excellent as his fiery ensemble was, the Blastoise outfit is a true standout.
Putting a twist on the Water-type creature as we know it, Johnathan equipped himself with a third weapon. Sometimes two canons tucked into a tortoise’s shell just isn’t enough. This is Blastoise at his most rugged, scars and all.

Being a noteworthy cosplayer requires effort and dedication. Sometimes that commitment puts you in uncomfortable attire like, say, an enormous Snorlax suit. Yes, there’s an actual human being inside the costume you see above and his name is Zach (@qwar_zach).
In true sleeping Snorlax fashion, Zach managed to block the way multiple times with this cosplay. Hey, at least he’s fluffy in an endearing stuffed animal kind of way. Now, someone go find the nearest Poke Flute.

Not only did Edgar (@gamercosplayerfit) bring Pokémon Shield’s poster boy to life, but he can actually move while in costume. The legendary creature’s bulky design already makes it a difficult cosplay to accomplish. The fact that Edgar isn’t confined to one spot is impressive.
Sure, it must be utterly awkward and exhausting to bounce around like this, but the end result is worth it. Then again, Edgar is a fitness buff with the proper stamina for the job.

The dinosaur-like Tyranitar might seem too complex to cosplay, but a creative mind can make even the impossible seem like child’s play. You’d never guess that this was WendyYukki’s first full armor creation, which is a testament to her talents.
Tyranitar is intimidating enough on its own, but Yukki included a custom battle axe for good measure. One thing’s for sure: you wouldn’t want to mess with this dinosaur.

What could possibly be better than three grown men cosplaying Bulbasaur and its evolutions? Fire_Forged_Cosplay makes a hilarious Venusaur, but the inclusion of Fred Chang as Bulbasaur and Josh Jones as Ivysaur is the icing on this very green cake.
The Gen 1 Grass/Poison-type trio has their own avid fan base, though they’re often overshadowed by Charmander and Squirtle’s evolutions. This group cosplay seems like an entertaining way to spend the day with two of your closest friends. The matching green caps and swim shorts might be a bit silly, but you have to admire the honest effort.
