Mr. Mime is by far one of the creepiest Pokémon characters in the entire Pokémon World. As kids who were haunted by him got older and popular films such as Pokémon Detective Pikachu were released, there came a myriad of new and horrific representations.

The Fan Art that came with the character was ultimately driven by nightmares and is absolutely necessary to look at because they’re awesome. Whether the character was meant to be this scary or not, the creepy artist renderings are pretty awesome.

10 Mr. Mime (The Dancing Clown)

Right in between It and It Chapter Two came the release of Pokémon Detective Pikachu. Most fans loved the live-action film and It just so happens that the other popular franchise at the time was Stephen King’s It.

This piece by Kyle Manternach not only captures Mr. Mime’s creepy character but encapsulates film pop culture between the years 2017-2019. The creepy eyes below the sewer popping out as Mr. Mime is a fabulous recreation of both of the franchises combined into one.

9 Joker Mime

Danielle Powers created a fabulous Mr. Mime version of the hit movie Joker. Both came out in 2019 around the same time and both have clown nuances strewn throughout.

The juxtaposition between the DC Universe and the Pokémon World is creepy in itself. She really gets the color scheme right here serving as a wonderful representation of the two popular 2019 films.

This humanization created by lmerlo72 is absolute nightmare fuel. Ranging from the weird splices of skin to the demonic stance, this is something straight out of a horror movie. Through the luminescent white mixed with the fading black, Mr. Mime has a completely new look here that is at the utmost evil nature.

This visual forces the viewer to step into a Pokémon World that may be placed within the underworld.

7 Mr. Mime Will Haunt Your Nightmares

This piece by arkhamknights gives a similar feeling alluding to Mr. Mime as a creature rising from the underworld. This creepy visual proves that Mr. Mime is, unfortunately, an extremely powerful Pokémon that can use his powers for the absolute worst.

It’s not only his conjuration abilities that give viewers a scare, but it’s also the fact that he laughs all the way through. Ultimately, making the Pokémon sinister and a menace.

6 ‘I love When They Scream’

This Fan Art on Picrail is one of the creepiest images on the internet let alone the Pokémon World. This is purely created to scare the viewer into hating the character, Mr. Mime. From the weirdly constructed face to the quote “I love when they scream,” this is an image that comes straight from a nightmare.

This painting proves that through humanization, a scary character can turn horrific.

5 Pokemon’s Mr. Mime

This piece by Ameera Al-khaja is so absurdly horrific it’s almost funny. Mr. Mime looks like an alien within this piece giving the character an otherworldly feel. The weird skin wrinkles and the diseased-looking blotches on its skin leave viewers asking “why is this necessary?”

Nonetheless, the artistic representation is beautiful in its own way because of how much time was spent on every detail within.

A common horror-trope is placing the antagonist within a shower-like scene which is absolutely what’s being portrayed here. In a rain of blood, the viewer has to assume that Mr. Mime is coming from (or on its way to) a murder

The smeared reds with the blotched blacks truly give a horrific feel to the Pokémon character.

This piece by BonnyJohn is almost a Tim Burton-looking representation of Mr. Mime. The thin and lengthy legs mixed with the short and stout body/face give great juxtaposition to a new look we may have not seen from the character. As a creature of a horror house, Mr. Mime would stalk around in a prancing-type way.

The parallels between the swirling shoes and the swirling horns make this piece come full circle.

1 Mr. Mime Attack On Titan

The final artist representation of Mr. Mime is greatly portrayed by the talented hand of Elizabeth Emery. By connecting Mr. Mime with the popular anime series Attack On Titan, both the Anime World and the Pokémon World are combined making a phenomenal piece.

Mr. Mime being represented as a titan here is scary on a large variety of different levels making this piece bold and intelligent. Not only is Attack On Titan and Mr. Mime both scary on their own, but combining the two is brilliant.
