Regirock, Registeel, and Regice all make a return in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl for players to find and capture. This legendary trio made its debut back in Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire. In order to collect them all in that game, players needed to decipher a braille message to help them solve a puzzle. Once the puzzle was solved, a doorway would open and players would be able to battle with Registeel, Regirock, or Regice. Finding them in that game was pretty difficult and required players to think outside of the box to solve.
The reason players will want to add all three Regi Pokémon to their collection is because of Snowpoint Temple. In the northernmost section of Snowpoint City will be a temple that players cannot enter until they have become the Champion. Once the player gets the Pokémon National Dex, many new locations open around Sinnoh and give players the chance to capture Pokémon from other regions. Players can enter Snowpoint Temple and find Regigigas in the basement. Although, it won’t move. In order to get Regigigas, players will need to find Regice, Registeel, and Regirock first.
Players are able to obtain Regirock, Registeel, and Regice from Ramanas Park on Route 221. After completing the Sinnoh Dex, players will be able to place slates on pedestals in order to encounter legendary Pokémon. To get Regirock, Registeel, and Regice, players will need to unlock the Discovery Slate.
How To Get Regirock, Registeel, and Regice in Pokémon BDSP
Discovery Slates can be purchased from the Pokémon shop within Ramanas Park. Although, players can only purchase them using Mysterious Shards. Players can unlock these only in the Underground after completing the Sinnoh Pokédex. They have the chance of appearing while the player is mining within a wall to collect materials. Players will need either 3 small Mysterious Shards or 1 Big Mysterious Shard in order to purchase a Discovery Slate.
After buying it, place the slate into the pedestal in Ramanas Park and the player will be transported to the Discovery Room. Here, players will be able to face off against Regice, Registeel, and Regirock. Players should prepare for these battles beforehand since if the player fails to capture the Pokémon, the slate to unlock it will wither away. This means players will need to find more Mysterious Shards for another chance. Each one of the Pokémon is level 70, making it difficult to weaken them if the player hasn’t leveled up much. Fortunately, there are many different ways on how to level up fast in Pokémon BDSP to make it easier to battle. Capturing them all will awaken Regigigas in the basement of the Snowpoint Temple.
