Pokemon Go How To Find (& Catch) Shiny Jolteon

Shiny Jolteon will soon be much easier to encounter in Pokemon Go. This guide will show players how to find and capture this Pokemon. Shiny Jolteon is already available in the game since all the Kanto Pokemon have their Shiny forms. The thing that makes it so interesting to obtain now is the upcoming Luminous Legends Y event. During this event, Sylveon will be making its Pokemon Go debut. Players will be able to earn hearts with their Eevee to evolve it into a Sylveon. Although, that’s not the only bit of Eevee content happening this week. This guide will show players how they can get a Shiny Jolteon in Pokemon Go.

The Luminous Legends Y event is broken up into 2 different parts. The first part will take place from May 18th to May 24th and will introduce the game to Yveltal, the legendary Pokemon from Pokemon Y. The second half will occur from May 25th to May 31st and will introduce Sylveon into the game. Not only that, but Eevee will appear more frequently in the wild. That’s just the icing on the cake since all of the other Eevee evolutions will be a part of 3-star raid battles. This is your chance to get your very own Shiny Jolteon.

How To Find (& Catch) Shiny Jolteon in Pokemon Go

From May 25th to May 31st, Jolteon will be one of the Pokemon available in 3-star raid battles. Upon completing this battle, players will have the chance to encounter a Shiny Jolteon. Since this is a Shiny we’re talking about, there is no guarantee that it will appear. Although, this is currently your best chance at getting one. Jolteon is an Electric-type Pokemon. Here are some of the best raid counter to bring along for this battle.

  • Garchomp: Mud Shot and Earthquake.
  • Groudon: Mud Shot and Earthquake.
  • Rhyperior: Mud Slap and Earthquake
  • Mamoswine: Mud Slap and Bulldoze.
  • Golem: Mud Shot and Earthquake
  • Nidoking: Fury Cutter and Earth Power

It shouldn’t be too difficult to defeat this battle on your own if you’re at a high enough level. Alternatively, aiming to complete it with at least 2 other players will make it much easier. During the capture phase, it will show if it’s Shiny or not. Continue to participate in raid battle until its Shiny form makes an appearance. This event won’t last forever so make sure to jump on it before it’s too late.
