Pokemon GO players have a lot of reasons to head out and partake in some Battle Raids right now. In addition to the introduction of a new Legendary and a Raid Rotation, the mobile AR game is also making some very exciting changes to the rewards that tier 4 and tier 5 Raids have to offer.

Usually the primary motivation to complete a Pokemon GO Battle Raid is to catch the Pokemon that is up for grabs, but that isn’t the only reward on the table. Experience Points and in-game items offer additional reasons to Raid, especially for players who already have enough copies of the bosses that are in rotation. A new change from Niantic aims to increase that motivation with more and better items…

The change from Niantic directly impacts rewards for T4 and T5 Battle Raids in Pokemon GO. The biggest change is that players who successfully complete Legendary Raids (T5) are now going to be rewarded with more Rare Candy than they have in the past. Additionally, T4 Battle Raids are now always going to guarantee that Charged TMs will be at least one of the rewards.

The new Raid rewards are great motivation to keep raiding even after players don’t need the experience points or encounters anymore and are likely to help drive up Raid numbers throughout the holiday season. Interested players can check out the latest in-game Boxes for some solid deals on Premium Raid Passes to help carry them through the ongoing and upcoming events.
