Before getting into full details on the PoGO Searching for Legends Timed Research, it is worth mentioning that players will earn several Nosepass encounters as they work through its steps. Fans that want to get their hands on a new Shiny Nosepass are thus advised to carve out some time in their schedules for completing all of these tasks. They should additionally plan to work on the event-exclusive Field Research, as several of those tasks also reward Nosepass encounters.

Pokemon GO: Searching for Legends Today’s View Research Tasks and Rewards

Step 1

• Take a snapshot of a Ground-type Pokemon (300 Stardust)
• Catch 10 Ground-type Pokemon (8 Poke Balls)

Rewards: Nosepass Encounter, 100 XP

Step 2

• Use 3 Nanab Berries while catching Pokemon (Magnemite Encounter)
• Use 3 Razz Berries while catching Pokemon (Magnemite Encounter)
• Use 3 Pinap Berries while catching Pokemon (Magnemite Encounter)

Rewards: Nosepass Encounter, 200 XP

Step 3

• Take a snapshot of a Rock-type Pokemon (300 Stardust)
• Catch 10 Rock-type Pokemon (8 Poke Balls)

Rewards: Nosepass Encounter, 300 XP

Step 4

• Defeat 1 Team GO Rocket Grunt (Stunfisk Encounter)

Rewards: Nosepass Encounter, 400 XP

Step 5

• Take a snapshot of a Steel-type Pokemon (300 Stardust)
• Catch 10 Steel-type Pokemon (8 Poke Balls)

Rewards: Nosepass Encounter, 500 XP

Step 6

• Make 3 Curveball Throws (Baltoy Encounter)
• Make 6 Great Curveball Throws (Ferroseed Encounter)
• Make 9 Curveball Throws in a row (Forretress Encounter)

Rewards: Nosepass Encounter, 600 XP

Step 7

• Use an Incense (Shieldon Encounter)
• Catch 45 Steel-type Pokemon (1 Silver Pinap Berry)

Rewards: Nosepass Encounter, 700 XP, 1 Magnetic Lure Module
