10 Salamence

This massive Dragon is one of the most terrifying creatures in the entire series. Its large head and powerful move set make it easy to bite down on just about any foe.

Fighting this creature is extremely difficult within the series and most other creatures don’t stand a chance. If trainers are battling one of these horrifying enemies then they should come prepared with only the strongest party that they can possibly muster.

9 Mega Sceptile

The normal version of this Grass starter is extremely powerful however it gets even stronger when it Mega evolves. This is one of the scariest Dragon-types in the franchise and it’s bizarre that it is because it’s normal form isn’t even a Dragon-type.

Because of its insane speed and expansive move set it can decimate practically any other Pokémon that stands in its path. Luckily it can be easily taken down by Ice-types because it has two types that are weak to it.

8 Hydreigon

This terrifying dragon is giant and has 3 heads. Any creature with 3 large heads and a giant flying body is sure to scare any trainer and this creature does just that.

It’s not easy to catch however its pre-evolution is somewhat easier and players that catch it early and evolve it will be some of the most feared trainers in the land. This Dragon is terrifying and players should stay away from it unless they have creatures that can rival its awesome power.

7 Noivern

This Bat is one of the strongest creatures in the franchise and its powerful dual typing and large move set make for a terrifying foe. It’s easy to dismiss this creature before players know much about it but once they face in battle they realize how horrifying it can be.

Luckily it’s a rare Pokémon and most trainers never have to encounter it and that is a good thing because it will easily destroy anything that provokes it. Trainers should avoid this Dragon at all costs.

6 Garchomp

This shark themed Dragon has a powerful dual typing and high stats that make it one of the most powerful creatures in generation 4. Most players never get a chance to catch this creature because of how powerful it is and how rare it is in the wild.

The trainers that do manage to capture this Pokémon are people that have powerful teams that are full of other scary creatures. This creature may not look like a Dragon on the surface but it attacks prove that it definitely is one.

5 Guzzlord

This Pokémon is an ultra beast and it’s absolutely horrifying. Its giant mouth could easily consume any Pokémon or person and its design is one of if not the most terrifying in the entire series.

It also has ridiculously high stats and powerful moves that it can use to defeat its opponent. Luckily this creature’s very rare and trainers won’t have to encounter it often so they don’t have too much to fear however if a person does come into contact with this creature they will be lucky to escape with their life.

4 Kyurem

This generation 5 Dragon is a powerful legendary that is rivaled by few others in the region. It’s not common to run into it in the wild because it has a set location that it resides at and this is a good thing for trainers that are powerful enough to face it.

If it wasn’t already terrifying enough it has the powerful ability to fuse with other legendaries in the series. Most trainers won’t have to battle this creature but if they do go up against it they should make sure to have their strongest Pokémon with them.

3 Dialga

The reason that this Pokémon is so terrifying is that it actually has the power to control time. Being able to control something as important as time is a powerful ability that only the most legendary creatures possess.

The trainer that captures this Pokémon will be able to completely distort time and bend it to their will which is why it should never end up in a trainer’s hands. Luckily it’s very hard to catch so most people won’t ever get a chance to capture this terrifying creature!

2 Rayquaza

This legendary was introduced in generation 3 and it was the most powerful creature in the region. It has very high stats and a large serpent body that can defeat almost any other creature in the Pokémon world.

It’s difficult to catch and in the games it is usually encountered at a very high level so players should be careful and bring lots of Pokeballs with them if they plan to catch it. This creature is absolutely horrifying both in its power and also its appearance.

1 Haxorus

This dragon is a peculiar one because although its final evolution is terrifying its pre-evolution is extremely cute. Unfortunately players that have to go up against this creature will usually lose the battle because it’s very strong and its stats are just that high.

Haxorus’s design doesn’t leave anything to be desired in terms of the scary factor and most trainers quiver in fear when they see this creature coming towards them.
