These particular Pokémon didn’t get their title of Legendary for nothing. Coming across a Legendary Pokémon was a real treat, and an opportunity to see something truly spectacular. It was even more wonderful for gamers that could potentially catch and train one of these Legendary Pokémon.
Legendary Pokémon also played huge roles in the various movies and anime shows of Pokémon. Often, in a movie, the central conflict would revolve around one or more Legendary Pokémon, whether that meant that one was trying to destroy the world, someone was trying to destroy it, or two Legendary Pokémon were fighting. No matter what, it was an adventure for the main heroes to learn more about these unusual Pokémon and their role in the world.
However, not all of the Legendary Pokémon are benign. In fact, many of them could be considered rather dangerous due to their immense power and strength. And there are Legendary Pokémon that are hostile to humans and Pokémon, even going as far as outright hating them. 15 He’ll Come At You With Lasers
Necrozma is a Psychic-type Legendary Pokémon, and was introduced in Generation VII. This is a particularly rare and mysterious Pokémon, and not a lot is known about it. There is speculation that Necrozma may be related to the Ultra Beasts, but nothing has been confirmed. It was discovered living deep underground, but that’s about all we know.
This Pokémon looks incredibly threatening with its black crystalline body, large arms, and a large number of spikes jutting out of its body. Necrozma can also refract light, concentrating it to shoot a powerful laser. What also makes Necrozma particularly dangerous is its vicious temper. It has no qualms about attacking others and will fire off its laser beams at anything. If you ever come across the Necrozma, I suggest you may want to run.

Lugia is a dual-type Psychic and Flying Legendary Pokémon. It’s often associated with Ho-Oh, and even considered its opposite. Lugia is also presented as the guardian of the seas while Ho-Oh is the guardian of the skies. Its appearance is interesting as it’s a mixture of a dragon, a bird, and a plesiosaur. It’s a huge Pokémon with a very impressive wingspan.
While Lugia isn’t all that aggressive, its immense power is what makes it rather dangerous. Simply by flapping its wings, Lugia could create rainstorms that last 40 days and generate winds that could tear down cliffs. What is good is that this Pokémon is highly intelligent and realizes the devastating effects its actions can produce. As a result, it often hides away and is rarely seen. While Entei isn’t really shown to be particularly aggressive, it’s power is enough to make you think twice before going up against it.

It’s appearance alone can be a little unnerving, with its billowing plumes, claw-like hands, and red spikes around its neck. While it isn’t particularly malicious, its mode of attack is incredibly frightening… literally. Darkrai can cause its enemies to have terrifying nightmares. By using its Dark Void attack, Darkrai can put its enemies to sleep and invade their dreams, causing horrific visions.
Granted, Darkrai rarely attacks unless provoked and these frightening powers are more of a defense mechanism. This still makes it a pretty fearsome and dangerous Pokémon that you may want to avoid. The last thing you’d want to do is startle a Pokémon capable of producing your worst nightmares.

Meet the god of Pokémon. Seriously, Arceus, a Normal-type Mythical Pokémon, is one of the most powerful Legendary Pokémon that exists. It is also credited to be the Pokémon that likely created the entire Pokémon universe. Some of its abilities include bringing back what was destroyed, making things vanish into thin air, or halt time.
What makes this Pokémon particularly dangerous is its tendency to hold grudges. If Arceus considers you a friend and you betray that trust, you’re doomed. Their battles were epic, but unfortunately held little regard for human life.

According to legend, it was Regigigas that moved the continents on the Earth to where they are today. Regigigas is a large, white, golem-like Pokémon with seven eyes. It has huge arms and its build is rather stocky.
Regigigas is a Pokémon that you’d definitely want to befriend, as it’s very calm and gentle to its friends. But if you make it angry, it will go on a rampage, shooting beams of energy and crushing its enemies with its powerful arms. It can also survive extreme conditions, so it’s very difficult to beat. And if that’s not enough, it can even create its own golems to fight for it. This is one Legendary Pokémon you really don’t want to fight.

Rayquaza is a dual-type Dragon and Flying Legendary Pokémon that shows up in Generation III. It resembles a large snake-like dragon with green scales and two limbs. It’s a huge Pokémon that even resembles a meteor when it’s descending to Earth.
Rayquaza is the only Pokémon that can stop Groudon and Kyogre from fighting and destroying the world. It’s incredibly powerful and has an organ that has the equivalent power of a Mega Stone. This Legendary Pokémon is also one that’s rarely seen by people as it spends most of its time in the upper atmosphere, feeding on water and other particles. While Rayquaza is not aggressive and more of a peacemaker than anything, its sheer size and strength make it a Pokémon that you don’t want to provoke.

Kyurem is a dual-type Dragon and Ice Legendary Pokémon, and was introduced in Generation V. Its appearance is a large gray and blue dragon with ice-covered wings. Its legs are fairly slender and have three sharp claws on each huge foot. It also has a tail with three blue spikes on top. It generates a powerful freezing energy inside its body, which then became frozen as the energy leaked out. As a result, parts of its body are missing, and its entire body is completely frozen.
Kyurem is not very friendly towards others and is known in legends to eat Pokémon and humans if it found them outside at night. So this is one Pokémon you definitely don’t want to run into on a cold, dark night.

This Pokémon is the game mascot for Pokémon Y. A large, dual-type Dark and Flying Legendary Pokémon, Yvelta’s intimidating appearance includes a huge wingspan with large spikes; not to mention it has five large claws on each appendage. Heatran is a dual-type Fire and Steel Legendary Pokémon. Admittedly, this Legendary’s appearance isn’t super threatening since it resembles more a cross between a turtle and a ram, but the fact that its blood is boiling hot like magma and that it gives off an incredible amount of heat puts Heatran in the more threatening zone. This Pokémon can dig, spew fire, and summon magma, making him particularly dangerous.
Heatran is also a fierce fighter and guardian. It deals out impressive attacks like Magma Storm and Heat Wave. If it wasn’t being controlled by the power of the Magma Stone, this Legendary would rampage and cause its home, a volcanic crater, to erupt. To say that this Pokémon can cause a lot of damage is putting it lightly.

A clone of the legendary Pokémon Mew, Mewtwo is incredibly dangerous, as was showcased in the Pokémon: The First Movie. This is a one of a kind Pokémon that was created by humans. As such, it’s a bit territorial and protective of the island it watches out for. It surprisingly can pack a good hit with its ability to store electricity and summon
What makes the Tapu Koko particularly dangerous is that its temperament can be fickle. It can be friendly toward you and playful in one moment, but then switch to vicious and homicidal in two seconds. Its anger is great and terrible, but fortunately, this Pokémon can cool down just as quickly. Still, the Tapu Koko is one Pokémon you should avoid pissing off.
