The Queer Eye hero of season 5, episode 10 is none other than Macy Gray’s brother and Bodyrock gym-owner, Nate Mcintyre! He’s known as Killer Whale.

Queer Eye season 5 officially landed on Netflix on June 5. As well as The Fab Five returning to our screens, the show brings with it 10 new heroes, too. Usually, the people who feature on the show don’t have a celebrity connection, but Macy Gray’s brother Nate McIntyre is the hero of episode 10.
The final episode of Queer Eye season 10 introduced us to 44-year-old Nate McIntyre – AKA Macy Gray’s brother! The Fab 5 drove down to West Philadelphia and took around Nate’s Bodyrock gym. Antoni investigated moldy food in the fridge and compared the jars in Nate’s freezer to “when Han Solo gets stuck in that cast resin thing,” Bobby was pretty confused at the home furnishing and Jonathan was pretty shocked at the bathroom situation, “It’s just a jimble-jamble of all this stuff all over the bathroom and he’s got his Waterpik right all up in there with everyone’s shardicles flying all up in the air. No, no, no!”
Nate very casually revealed that his sister was the “I Try” singer when Antoni came across a Macy Gray album in his bedroom. Antoni said, “I have to say the cleanest thing in this whole room is that wall plaque with Macy Gray’s album. And why’s your name on it?” Nate replied, “My sister is Macy Gray. There was a pint where I used to travel on the road with her.” Nate also revealed that he sings, too, and said Killer Whale is the name that he goes by on-stage. Episode 10 also saw Nate’s mother, Laura, and sister, Nehlia, attend his reveal at that end of the show.
The Fab Five totally transformed Nate’s Bodyrock gym and in turn, his outlook, diet, confidence followed suit. When Antoni took Nate to a kitchen to learn how to cook a red snapper dish, Nate said, “It’s like having pistons moving at the same time. Like, id you have one that’s working and the other three aren’t working, eventually, the one that’s working is going to stop working. When one thing is off it makes it easier for other things to be off.”
Tan also managed to bring out Nate’s musical alter-ego Killer Whale when he took care of the fashion side of things. Nate said, “When I’m in my band, that’s a lot easier for me, like a mix between James Earl Jones’s voice and Rick James’ cornrows.” Today, you can keep up-to-date with Nate via his Instagram account @bodyrockbootcamp.
