Lisa Rinna from The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills revealed she was “cruel” to her fellow castmate and long-time friend, Denise Richards. The two actors have known each other for 20 years through their work in both film and television. In one of Lisa’s movies, she even filmed a scene with Denise’s ex-husband, Charlie Sheen, who licked Lisa’s toes in the shot. When Denise joined RHOBH in 2019, it seemed the two friends would forever share an alliance on the show.

But in RHOBH season 10, the friendship took a turn for the worse. Rumors began swirling that Denise hooked up with Brandi Glanville, which became a hot topic of conversation among the cast. Lisa decided to go with the herd and refused to stand up for her friend. Many viewers were shocked to see almost every member of the cast turn on Denise, putting her through interrogation after interrogation to uncover the truth about her sex life. In typical RHOBH fashion, they formed a housewife army, ready to open fire, and Lisa did nothing to stop it.

In the Wednesday, September 15 episode of Watch What Happens Live, Lisa admitted to her crimes. In honor of Yom Kippur, she had to play a game called “At-OWN-It,” where Andy Cohen asked her if she needed to atone for any sins concerning her relationship with Denise. Lisa confessed, “I don’t like my behavior and how I treated her.” She then took it a step further: “I was mean, and I was cruel. I was too cruel. I absolutely was, and I’d like to atone for that.”

Andy seemed shocked by Lisa’s response, and told her, “This is good.” Lisa reacted, “It’s true, it’s true!” A fellow guest on WWHL, Sarah Paulson (actor from American Horror Story), nodded her head in agreement as Lisa apologized, and commented, “This is why I like you.” Later in the game, Andy confessed to a sin of his own, saying he never should have asked Oprah Winfrey if she has “swam in the lady pond,”

As Andy well knows, the Beverly Hills housewives have many things to apologize for. In each season of the show, the cast likes to zero in on the one person who seems the most vulnerable (this year it’s Erika Jayne). But Denise learned this lesson in a terrible way, which led her to leave the show. The soldiers against Denise not only offended the Wild Things actor but also many people in the LGBTQ+ community, who felt the cast was sensationalizing Denise’s alleged bisexuality to stoke more drama on the show.

Perhaps Lisa’s regret over her treatment of Denise caused her to behave differently with the issues concerning Erika. Unlike last season, Lisa has remained faithful to her friend, who is now the target of the firing squad. The actor says she will defend Erika because she hasn’t been convicted of (or charged with) any crime. Despite these facts, however, it doesn’t appear that The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills will let up on the pop star anytime soon. At least she still has Lisa, who learned from her past mistakes.
