Tamra Judge may no longer be a housewife on The Real Housewives of Orange County, but she is still involved in the main drama of the season surrounding Shannon Beador and Braunwyn Windham-Burke.
The former housewife stared on the Bravo reality series from season 3 to 14 as a full time cast member. She developed quite the friendship with former cast member, Vicki Gunvalson, and current member, Shannon. Tamra and Shannon have since had a fallout, while Braunwyn and Tamra have connected and become closer since Tamra left the show. The two even recently went to lunch and apparently keep in close contact.
According to Us Weekly, Tamra is putting the blame on Shannon for Braunwyn having to open up about her battle with alcoholism so abruptly. During the second episode of the new season, Braunwyn revealed that Tamra had spoken to her mother, Dr. Deb, on the phone where they discussed Braunwyn’s substance abuse issues. After hearing about this discussion, the 42-year-old felt she had to share her battle with alcohol on camera and therefore confide in Shannon. Tamra took to Instagram after hearing she was getting blamed for drama that was occurring on the show. She revealed that Dr. Deb had reached out to her via DM on Instagram to ask how her ex-husband, Simon Barney, was doing after his cancer diagnosis. “Then I asked how her and B were doing. She simply said better now that she isn’t drinking … that’s it!!!!” Tamra explained. According to the 53-year-old, she and Dr.Deb were simply checking up on each other. While Dr. Deb mentioned Braunwyn and alcohol, there was no mention of her addiction.
Tamra went on to explain that Shannon informed her that she thought Braunwyn was pregnant and planned on buy her a pregnancy test. “First week of filming when Shannon and I were still kind [of] talking, Shannon called me and said she thinks B is pregnant and she’s gonna buy her a pregnancy test and give it to her on camera…I told her don’t bother, I don’t think she’s pregnant, her mom told me that she isn’t drinking anymore.” she recalled. “Shannon then contacts production and makes this big deal out of it saying, ‘We are filming a reality show she needs to drink.'” According to Tamra, after she told Shannon that Braunwyn was no longer drinking, Shannon was upset and complained to the producers about Braunwyn. It seems Shannon does not think their TV show will do well without everyone drinking to some capacity. Shannon has yet to publicly commented on Tamra’s claims, but it seems she and Braunwyn are on speaking terms. She recently reached out to Braunwyn and wrote her a sweet message that she very much appreciated.
Braunwyn seems to be on good terms with both Tamra and Shannon even though their is drama involving the three of them. The situation sounds more like a misunderstanding between Tamra and Shannon.
