Former Southern Charm star, Thomas Ravenel, is engaged to Heather Mascoe, who gave birth to their son just five months ago. Thomas had recently made an appearance in the premiere episode of the Bravo reality series with Kathryn Dennis and their two children. Kathryn was staying with Thomas while her home was being painted.
Later in the season, Kathryn found out Thomas was expecting his third child and was completely blindsided by the news. Kathryn was surprised and hurt when she found out. It appeared she seemingly hoped for a reconciliation one day.
However, Daily Mail reported on Tuesday that Thomas is now “happily engaged” just five months after welcoming his son with Heather. He even updated his Twitter and Instagram bios to let his followers know he is off the market. The 58-year-old told close friends that he has no plans to draw up a prenup with Heather, as he feels like she is the one.
According to US Weekly, Thomas and Heather welcomed their first child together in June before their engagement was confirmed. “We’ve named him Jonathan Jackson Ravenel and he was born by C-section,” Thomas revealed back in July. “We are both very happy. Heather is a phenomenal mom and they’re both doing well.” His son’s birth came just a few months after Kathryn discovered a pregnancy test at her ex’s house. The 29-year-old later got confirmation from her lawyer via text that Thomas was expecting a child with another woman. Kathryn felt betrayed as she had been living with him while he was harboring this huge secret.
For the sake of his three children, hopefully, this engagement works out for Thomas. As fans have heard, he is known to be incapable of being tied down to just one person.
