Blue Twelve Studios unveiled the first teaser for its upcoming title Stray today during the PS5 reveal stream. The new IP looks to have players take control of a hyper-detailed cat in a world filled with robots instead of humans. This will be the studio’s first release, published by Annapurna Interactive – the publisher of Outer Wilds.
Stray seems to be a more subdued and relaxing experience in comparison to some of the other titles announced in the PS5 stream. Without too much to go off of, Stray seems to be exploration-based, giving players a cats-eye-view of a gorgeous urban cityscape that takes full advantage of the power available to developers using the PS5 as a platform. Perhaps this will be a game that takes after the likes of Journey and Outer Wilds, with a big emphasis on exploring the world of the game rather than combat.
