It looks like it’s Mario Time as the cult classic 90’s live action movie is currently sitting on top of the Amazon charts – almost thirty years after its original theatrical release.

The recent surge in attention to the live action movie that saw Bob Hoskins and John Leguizamo as our favorite overall dawning siblings, Mario and Luigi, as they go on journey to rescue Princess Peach from the clutches of the villainous President Koopa may be may be attributed to the recent announcement of the cast for the animated movie that is being released by Nintendo and Illumination. Chris Pratt will be the voice of the titular mustachioed plumber, Mario, which was met with some negative pushback from fans.
