They also learned that PlatinumGames will be shifting its focus from “one off, well designed” experiences to games which “can be enjoyed and loved for a longer period of time.” Oh, by the way, somebody got Wordle running on a Game Boy.

Techland Reveals Fixes Coming Soon To Dying Light 2

Techland released Dying Light 2 earlier this week to somewhat less than favorable reviews. But this hasn’t stopped players from diving into the game. While they seem to be having fun on the whole, many players have been encountering bugs. Lots of bugs. “Hello, Survivors! We have implemented some hotfixes over the weekend and will be continuing to add more in the coming days,” Techland pointed out. “Thank you for your incredible support and patience.” The company went on to reveal a very long list of upcoming fixes. Looks like we’ll finally be able to kill those unkillable enemies.

You Can Play Wordle On Game Boy Now

Wordle has become an incredible success over the course of these past few months. While pretty much nobody had even heard of the game last year, you can’t go a single day at this point without seeing someone post their score on social media. Well, now you can even play it on a GameBoy. Somebody going by the name of Ghidraninja has apparently pulled off this little feat of engineering. But it comes with a small catch. “I couldn’t fit in a big wordlist of ‘real’ words,” they said. “Instead, I’m using a bloom filter to check whether an entered word is one of the 8,000 most common English words.” Oh, well.

Bayonetta Developer PlatinumGames Shifting Focus To Live Service Titles

PlatinumGames might just be moving towards a live service model. “We would like to cherish and create small but brilliantly conceived games such as Sol Cresta and games in which you can enjoy the process of clearing the game by going through one-off, well-designed stages such as Bayonetta,” Chief Executive Officer Atsushi Inaba said. “However, the projects that we are trying to create for the future will be different in terms of their structure.” This definitely bodes well for the upcoming Babylon’s Fall, but not so much for the next Astral Chain.

Dev Explains Why BioShock Infinite Has A Dancing Bread Boy

There’s a little boy holding a baguette who comes falling from the sky at one point in BioShock Infinite. Fans of the game have been wondering about this for years. The developer behind this character, Gwen Frey, came forward today with an explanation. “Hahaha, yeah, this was me,” Frey said. “I placed all the background characters in BioShock Infinite.” Frey went on to describe why the decision was made. But long story short, the developer “deleted the boy’s dancing partner and attached a baguette to his hands. Bam! Boy dances with a baguette! Ship it!”

Dying Light 2 Gets Review Bombed By Angry Italian Players

Dying Light 2 hasn’t been well received on the whole, but there’s one group of people who are completely up in arms — Italians. While some of their concerns are justified, others are completely groundless. In any case, they’ve been review bombing the game. “The absence of Italian language and inclusion of all other languages in the game is a heavy offense to Italian culture and people,” one player said. “Dying Light 2 has only Italian text and is full of errors and bad translation,” another noted. “They showed no respect for Italy and Italians. No way us Italians will show respect for them,” said a third player.
