Big news for Taylor Swift’s loyal fan base: producers of The Masked Singer have revealed that one of the show’s performers has a close connection with the singer-songwriter. So far, The Masked Singer season 6 has revealed five celebrities under their elaborate costumes. Dwight Howard, Vivica A. Fox, Toni Braxton, Tyga and Larry The Cable Guy were the not-so-lucky stars to get voted off in just the first four episodes. Nine performers remain, as well as three more wildcard contestants that have yet to enter the competition.

Producers have not stated which singer has the Taylor connection. However, in a promo video released prior to The Masked Singer season 6 premiere, wildcard performer the Caterpillar hinted that Taylor may know who they are. Either way, one of the singers has a connection to the global superstar. Producers of the show told TMZ that one of singers performing in Wednesday’s episode “has been seen together” with Taylor. In the episode, titled “Date Night,” the performers will be revealing information about their love lives. Taylor has been spotted out with many of Hollywood’s A-list men, including Jake Gyllenhaal, Harry Styles and Calvin Harris. However, producers also revealed that the star behind the costume has collaborated with Taylor on a project, meaning it may not necessarily be someone Taylor dated.

Producers could be referring to someone Taylor has written with, produced with or even someone she’s featured on a song. The star could be Kendrick Lamar, who was featured on the 2015 remix of Taylor’s song “Bad Blood.” The celeb could also be Taylor’s frequent collaborator Jack Antonoff or Zac Efron, whom the singer worked with on the film The Lorax. Based on initial clues, some have suggested that the Caterpillar is Law & Order: SVU star Mariska Hargitay. Showbiz CheatSheet believes the Taylor clue points to the actress. This would line up with the producers’ clue that the star has collaborated with Taylor in the past. Mariska was one of several famous faces to appear in Taylor’s music video for “Bad Blood.” Taylor has also been vocal about her love for Mariska’s SVU character and even named one of her cats after her.

These are all interesting theories, but since producers have given such little information, it’s hard to tell who the famous friend may be. The show is known for having musical icons like Gladys Knight and Paul Anka hiding behind their eccentric costumes, as well as younger stars like Joey Fatone and Wiz Khalifa. The list of potential celebrities the producers are referring to is never-ending.
