The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ Erika Jayne has been taking the Bravo show by storm since season six. Over the years she has brought the drama, the laughs, and more importantly, the looks. Next to castmate Dorit Kemsley, Erika is one of the most fashionable women on the show. She’s constantly playing around with different styles and isn’t afraid to try something outlandish.

Sadly, not every look has been a success according to fans. Erika is a big fan of mini dresses, things that glitter, and button-down shirts with heels but these ensembles missed the mark (no matter how expensive they may have been).

10 Sleepwear In Hong Kong

When the ladies of Beverly Hills hopped on a plane and went to Hong Kong, some of the most incredible fashion choices were made. It was like being transformed into a different world. All the women stepped it up when it came to their hair, makeup, and accessories.

They could have easily shot their introduction taglines in their Hong Kong looks. And while Erika looked incredibly bold and artistic throughout the entire trip, this one look felt a tad boring. Even her jewelry seemed like they were randomly selected instead of thoughtfully planned.

9 Uneventful In Moschino

“Lucy Lucy Apple Juicy” was season nine’s premiere episode. This was Denise Richard’s first season on RHOBH and Erika was pumped to meet her through Lisa Rinna (even though she later came off as unlikeable).

In the episode, Kyle has a pool party and all the ladies are invited. It was a pretty casual event where most women wore wedges and bathing suit coverups but Erika wore a mini shirt dress by Moschino. She paired the look with white Loubitons but for whatever reason, this outfit felt very off-brand for Erika. Where’s the pool party attitude with mesh coverups and link necklaces?

8 Youthful In Kenzo

It’s understandable that Erika Jayne was excited to finally explore Tokyo after an extremely long flight from Los Angelas but this look makes her seem like the definition of a tourist.

Erika loves color and animals but this tiger sweatshirt from Kenzo paired with the heart-shaped glasses makes her look like a high schooler on a field trip instead of a woman exploring the depths of Tokyo. Lisa Rinna’s outfit a little more on-brand for the ladies.

7 A Graffiti Hoodie By MJ By Maison Margiela

In season 10’s “Let The Mouse Go,” the women are getting ready for Lisa Rinna’s daughters’ fashion line release party. They meet at Erika’s first before going to the party and it’s safe to say Erika stood out from the rest of the ladies but in a bad way. She wore an over-sized graffiti hoodie with a black mesh longsleeved shirt underneath.

Her ponytail and hoops were the perfect choices for the hoodie but it just wasn’t the right look for this occasion. Erika’s outfit, however, was ignored when Dorit and Sutton went head to head at dinner over Sutton’s minor meltdown on the way to the party.

6 Proper In Versace

Although it’s evident that Erika has a love affair with button-down shirts, seeing her in one still throws fans off. Over the years, Erika has not been shy about showing off her body and wearing things that most of the other housewives can’t pull off. Seeing her in something like this at a dinner party is rather lackluster.

Even her hair and makeup are more done-up than this. Perhaps this is one of those nights where Erika’s glam squad was off-duty.

5 Plain Jayne

Season 10 was Garcelle Beauvais’s first season, and she quickly became a fan favorite. From her inquisitive personality and killer looks, Garcelle was a breath of fresh air. Unsurprisingly, Erika and Garcelle got along great and quickly went out for lunch soon after meeting.

In the scene, Garcelle looked incredible in a graphic t-shirt and vertical pants. Erika, on the other hand, looked touristy in a short-sleeved button-down and black jeans.

4 Stay There Kitty, Kitty

Erika Jayne does not look or act like your average cat lady. In fact, she has a gorgeous Dutch Shepherd named Tiago. But in season eight’s “Bad Guys” she chilled at home in jeans and a $230 cat print sweatshirt by M6 by Maison Margiela.

Regardless of the cat sweatshirt, “Bad Guys” was a big episode for Erika because she was writing her memoir and had to dig into her past. Luckily she had her fellow housewives to lean on to for support.

3 Glittering In Gucci

Season eight feels like a different lifetime. It was a time when Lisa Vanderpump was still the head woman in charge and was best friends with Kyle Richards.

In this episode, Kyle and Vanderpump are gearing up for a joint birthday party in Las Vegas with the girls. When Erika shows up at the airport, she’s in white jeans and a “modern future” graphic tee by Gucci. While glitter is always welcomed in Vegas, this shirt seems like a random choice for Erika. In later seasons, she chooses to fly in matching sweatsuits, which are more her style.

2 A Job Interview Or Press Conference?

In a world of Zoom calls, Erika Jayne joined the trend when it came time to do appearances in the midst of COVID-19. It can be difficult to serve true fashionable looks through a computer camera but it’s almost as if Erika gave up. This pink stripe shirt could have easily been a pajama top or worn to a job interview as a bank teller.

It’s almost like the woman pictured isn’t even Erika Jayne but a cousin instead.

1 Erika Jayne The Soccer Player

In “Eat Your Heart Out,” Dorit is busy planning a girls’ trip to the Bahamas and Lisa Rinna is getting ready for a pastry party. Erika, on the other hand, was wearing this silk dress by Kenzo that made it seem like she was gearing up for a soccer game.

The neckline, stripes, and “Satori Firecracker” logo made it look like Erika was considering a profession in goalkeeping instead of going out to lunch with a friend.
