As fabulous and wealthy as the women of The Real Housewives are, there is one thing that outshines their celebrity glow: their pets. With the women sharing every part of their lives at home — relationships, kids, business, etc. — their pets are also a part of the package. While dogs appear to be crowd favorites with the housewives, there are a few that enjoy unique animals like miniature ponies and parrots.

But with so many housewives in nine cities, it’s impossible to include every pet in The Real Housewives universe. As hard as it is to admit, some pets stand out more than others and are often shown in multiple scenes of their respective shows.

Marley (RHONY)

Marley Morgan is Sonja Morgan’s poodle. The fluffy good boy from The Real Housewives of New York was purchased by Sonja and her daughter Quincy in 2010, according to Distractify, and soon became so popular that he could be a housewife.

In fact, Marley is so beloved that he has his own Instagram account, and he has been in countless episodes as Sonja’s partner and crime. He has traveled on the Jitney with Sonja, he’s gone to the Hamptons, and he’s gone to several house parties. Marley really is a Housewife.

Archie (RHOC)

Archie is the sweet golden retriever from The Real Housewives of Orange County. He’s Shannon Storms Beador’s pup and fans can’t get enough of him. He’s all over Shannon’s social media profiles and is a loyal family companion.

According to People, Shannon adopted Archie after a fan posted his picture on Twitter. Instead of finding a friend to adopt Archie, Shannon did it herself in 2016. As always, fans are quick to judge the way Shannon lives and raises Archie. She has on multiple occasions told fans to relax when it comes to Archie because even though he looks tired or stubborn in a few videos, he’s a healthy, quirky pup.

One cannot talk about the pets of The Real Housewives without mentioning Kyle Richards’ hoards of dogs on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Kyle is known for her amazing quotes but she’s also famous pets. At one point, Kyle had six dogs but she sadly said goodbye to Khloe earlier this year, according to Bravo.

Now, Kyle and her loving family have five dogs: Bambi, Storm, River, Luna, and Romeo. In the clan, there’s a golden retriever, a german shepherd, a Pomeranian, a Yorkiepoo, and a shepherd mix, according to Inquisitor. Every time cameras film at Kyle’s house, it’s impossible not to zoom in on the fluffy faces that follow Kyle around like shadows.

T’Challa (RHOP)

The Real Housewives of Potomac, like others in the franchise, has its fair share of dogs. However, the one pet that stood out the most in the series was former housewife Monique Samuels’ African Grey parrot, T’Challa. T’Challa was constantly on Monique’s shoulder at home. He became his own kind of celebrity because of how obsessed fans were with him. He even flew into Wendy Osefo’s face in an iconic scene.

Monique had a scare in 2020 when T’Challa flew away, but he came back the following day. And sadly, in July 2021, Monique told fans that T’Challa had a “freak accident” and died. Considering parrots can live upwards of 50 years, Monique and her family were heartbroken.

Fanci (RHOD)

Pet Palace noted that before Kameron Westcott became a housewife for The Real Housewives of Dallas, she was the owner of a luxury pet fashion line called BabyLou Pooch Couture. This tracks since Kameron has some of the best looks on RHOD. Once she grew in fame from The Real Housewives, she launched her own healthy line of pet food, Sparkle Dog Food.

In April 2020, Kameron welcomed a new dog into her life, a blonde Pomeranian named Fanci.Since getting Fanci, Kameron has shown off the “fancy” side of Fanci’s life. She’s pampered and wears bows with pink outfits that match Kameron’s personal aesthetic. Now that The Real Housewives of Dallas has been canceled, fans will just have to get their fill of Fanci from Kameron’s social media profiles.

Aside from Kyle’s five dogs, it’s hard not to think about Lisa Vanderpump’s pets that reside at her residence, Villa Rosa. Aside from Lisa’s seven dogs. two swans, and horses, she also has two miniature ponies named Diamonds and Rosé.

According to Bustle, Lisa got her husband Ken these two ponies as a gift. She was supposed to just have one pony but when the trainer brought two because they traveled better together, Lisa felt compelled to take them both. They’re now seen trotting along Villa Rosa with all of Lisa’s other pets. As villainous as Lisa Vanderoump can be, she has a big heart for her furry and feathery friends.

King & Twirl (RHOA)

Kenya Moore from The Real Housewives of Atlanta is known for her quick wit, stunning looks. Sometimes, Kenya can also be a little villainous, too. But she’s also known as a big dog lover. She has two Yorkshire terriers named King and Twirl who have become famous in their own right on her social media feed. They’ve also made plenty of appearances on RHOA.

According to Bravo, Kenya said this about her “fur babies”: “King and Twirl are my fur babies and they watch over their mommy to keep me safe. Don’t know what I would do without them in my life. I love [you] puppies!”

Coco (RHONY)

Similar to Marley, Ramona Singer’s dog Coco was a star on RHONY. Ramona, her daughter Avery, and ex-husband Mario had their Shih Tzu for over 17 years before she sadly passed away in the summer of 2021. There are plenty of things that fans don’t know about Ramona Singer, but Coco being her best friend is not one of them. Everyone knew of their bond.

Like Marley and Sonja, Coco was Ramona’s sidekick. He made appearances throughout the series since the show’s start. On Instagram, Ramona Singer wrote, “She was truly a family member & my sidekick on #RHONY. Coco brought so much joy to us over the years and will be incredibly missed.” If Ramona comes back for season 14 of RHONY, Coco’s memory will live on.”

Bella (RHONJ)

Margaret Josephs of The Real Housewives of New Jersey fame also has a Yorkie named Bella. While housewife Dolores Catania is known for her two pups, it’s Margaret’s dog Bella that really shines.

Margaret adopted Bella in 2018, according to Woof Republic, and the dog has been said to be “yippy.” But regardless of Bella’s chatty side, she’s a member of the family. Margaret told Bravo, “She’s very protective but she is a little, little doll. We are so in love with her. I am obsessed.”

Most of the housewives of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City have dogs but it’s Whitney Rose’s dog Louis that has stolen the spotlight. After buying him in June, Louis has taken Whitney’s heart. It’s not known what kind of breed Louis is, but he appears to be a mix of a King Charles and a Dashound. With how open Whitney is about her home life, Louis is bound to make more appearances in different storylines on RHOSLC.
