When a reality star starts a business, it’s not always a success and can sometimes seem like an excuse for someone to throw a big party and celebrate the launch. That has happened many times with several cast members from the Real Housewives who have created toaster ovens (looking at Sonja Morgan here) or alcohol brands.

But even though many of the cast members have struggled to find a new business venture that would bring fortune (they already have the fame from starring on the Bravo franchise, of course), there are just as many people who have done really well for themselves. Nene Leakes has appeared in many TV shows as an actress, from The New Normal to Glee, and she keeps becoming more and more successful.

Besides starring on RHOA, Miss Leakes had an HSN clothing line that used to do very well, Nene by Nene Leakes. However, her line seemingly disappeared from the network, indicating that it was discontinued or dropped.

11 Kenya Moore’s Haircare Line Is The Real Deal

After years of compliments on Kenya’s natural hair, she created Kenya Moore Haircare for women to grow stronger, healthier, more beautiful hair. While some Housewives deals fall flat, Kenya’s brand is just starting. The brand has over 20,000 followers on Instagram and has rave reviews by dedicated users.

According to Bravo, Kenya’s haircare line is in over 2,000 stores and sales are booming online. As always, Kenya’s business has been shaded by her co-stars but it’s her who’s laughing all the way to the bank.

10 Teddi Mellencamp Used Her Past Story To Help Other Women

RHOBH’s Teddi Mellencamp has been open about her struggles with an eating disorder in her younger years but was able to pull herself out of that dark space by focusing on clean eating and exercise. To encourage other women, Teddi created an accountability program called All In by Teddi.

Her program caught some flack in the summer of 2020 after the discussion of food journaling and limited calories were brought up but her brand is still thriving despite the speed bump.
