Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition Launches Next Month

We’ve finally got a proper look at the GTA Trilogy, and it’s absolutely fantastic. A big information blowout confirmed all of the rumours that we’d been hearing over the past few months and revealed a good middle ground of nostalgia alongside graphical improvements. Most importantly, we now have a release date of November 11.

Spooky Phantom Cars Arrives In GTA Online’s Halloween Event

Don’t go thinking that the GTA Trilogy is the only bit of GTA news we’ve got this week. As Halloween approaches, phantom cars and UFO sightings have hit Los Santos. Not only that but superhuman “Slasher” NPCs have also been added to the game. You can find all of this spooky content in GTA Online’s Freemode now.

Grand Theft Auto Definitive Edition Has Higher Spec Recommendations Than Red Dead Redemption 2

Those action figure-esque graphics have to come at some cost, right? Thanks to store listings, it’s been revealed that the GTA Trilogy actually has higher spec recommendations than Red Dead Redemption 2. It’s not really clear why, especially considering how fantastic Red Dead Redemption 2 looks, but at least you can get away with having a slightly less powerful processor. How old are these games again?

Rockstar Job Listing Hints At Destructible Skyscrapers And More For GTA 6

As exciting as all of the GTA Trilogy news is, let’s look toward the future a little bit. A new Rockstar job listing for a VFX artist might have given us a bit more detail on GTA 6, including the fact that it might have destructible skyscrapers. Among the details asked for in the job listing is the ability to show rain dripping from buildings and insects around the player, alongside the whole skyscraper destruction thing. It’s starting to make sense why we won’t be seeing this one for a while.

GTA Online Player Witnesses A Police Clown Car In Action

If you’ve ever played GTA 5 – and who hasn’t – you’ll know that the Los Santos police force doesn’t always play by the rules. Well, one Redditor, RakorGames, witnessed it first hand and saw what can only be described as a police clown car. They posted a short clip on the GTA Online subreddit, showing them using a police car to reach their getaway vehicle. As soon as they get there, they get out of the police car and use it as cover, before being killed by two officers spawning out of the car they were just using. Guess that solves that mystery.
