Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2 features 9 remastered maps in Pro Skater 1 with numerous collectibles to be found on each, including secret tapes, S-K-A-T-E letters, stat points, Vicarious Visions logos, and – the focus of this guide – alien plushies. One plushie can be found on each map, and in order to collect it, you simply need to skate into it and have it explode into green goo.
These aliens will only appear in Tour mode, so don’t bother trying to find them in Free Skate, as they will not show up in any of the spots pictured below. Finding and destroying all of these aliens, as well as all of the aliens in Pro Skater 2 will earn you a silver trophy if you’re playing on PlayStation, or a 30G achievement if you’re playing on Xbox. It will also unlock the Roswell Alien, one of many special playable characters.
Warehouse
From where you spawn, go straight down the ramp in front of you, then take a left. Go up the ramp to the left of you to where you should see a large “Rensselaer Hydrant Co.” sign up high on the wall.
On the top landing of the ramp in front of you, on the far right will be the alien. Skate up the ramp diagonally and slowly to come to rest up top, where you can collect the plushie.
School
When you spawn, take an immediate right and drop down. Once you land, turn right again and ollie up to the elevated area of grass up ahead.
Take a left and the alien plushie will be tucked into the corner here. It’s very hard to see it as it is incredibly dark here, but simply skate right into the corner and you should get it.
Mall
Skate your way down all of the downward ramps from where you spawn, until you smash through a bunch of glass to enter the mall. Continue straight to the far end of the hallway to the point pictured below.
Jump to the bottom of this staircase and stop, then take an immediate right. Hidden in the corner to the left of the garage door labeled “Parking” is the alien. This one is also very hard to see.
Skate Park
Make an immediate right upon spawning so that you are facing the large television on the far side. To the right of this television is a ramp leading up the right wall. Go up this ramp and land on top of this platform.
Up here, facing towards the television on the opposite side of the skate park, you are going to want to ollie and wallride off the wall to your left, then do a wallie very quickly to jump up to the even higher platform above you.
On the opposite side of the support beam in front of you will be the alien in the corner. This one will be clearly visible.
Downtown
Immediately turn all the way around when you spawn and jump up the ramp in front of you to reach a higher road. Go left and jump up the furthest ramp in front of you to smash through a glass window and enter a tunnel. Follow this tunnel up to the roof.
Enter the bowl ahead of you and you are going to want to ramp up the back right corner ramp, where the two trash bags are, and land on top of the piece of the ramp. This can be tricky.
Inch forward to drop down onto a lower piece of the roof, where the plushie will be just behind you.
Downhill Jam
This one is by far the easiest. Make an immediate 180 when you spawn, and sitting in the back right corner of the starting platform will be the alien.
Burnside
This one is not as easy. Head down the starting ramp and take a left. You will have two pillars in front of you, with the farther, graffiti-less one being the one you want to go to. Jump up the ramp to the left of the pillar at an angle towards the pillar. You’re going to want to land on top of the horizontal beam coming off of the pillar, where the alien will be landed on.
Streets
Go forward and take a right down the large hill to the main area. At the bottom, take another right and you should see two trees up ahead on your right. Take the ramp next to the close one.
At the top of the ramp, go fairly far left as you will need a good run-up for this jump. Skate towards the direction of the ramp you just went up and hit the smaller ramp, up towards the two American flags.
Once up here on the red roof, the alien can be found alongside the wall.
Roswell
Go down the starting ramp and head around the left side, through the door labeled “Restricted Area” directly ahead of you.
Go straight forward towards the UFO and up the ramp, where you will want to land on the platform at the top of the ramp. Once up there, skate counterclockwise around the top area to find the alien on the side nearest to the door you entered. This is the last plushie for Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1.
If you’re looking to earn the achievement/trophy, as well as unlock the Roswell Alien to play as, follow along our guide for the plushies in Pro Skater 2 to do so.
