The Washington Justice recently announced Hyeon-Woo “JJANU” Choi and Chung-hee “Stitch” Lee would be joining the team. This news comes after both JJANU and Stitch were released from the Vancouver Titans and the Justice lost two of their three DPS players including star player Corey Nigra. Though not a possible long-term solution, it will be interesting to see how the two perform for the Justice moving forward.

JJANU and Stitch were part a top-tier 2019 Vancouver Titans team, but following a falling-out, the organization parted with every player. The players entered free agency and JJANU and Stitch become the next former Titans players to join another team after the Seoul Dynasty picked up Slime.

Both JJANU and Stitch slotted into the starting lineup for the Washington Justice on Saturday as they took on a white-hot Florida Mayhem team. Though the two new additions looked promising in moments, the Justice fell 3-1. A number of factors most likely played into this including lack of synergy and both players playing from Korea which means up to 250 ping. As they get more comfortable, the Justice should look much better.

One thing to note is both JJANU and Stitch are on temporary 14-day contracts with the Washington Justice. This is possible the new roster construction rules the league has implemented recently in response to the ongoing COVID-19 crisis. Though they aren’t permanent fixtures for the Justice, both players have the ability to provide a much needed boost to a struggling Washington team that recently lost two players.

It’s unclear if JJANU and Stitch will remain on the Washington Justice after their initial 14-day contract ends. Both players are extremely talented and can make an impact for a number of teams in the league including Washington. If the Justice are the right fit for them should begin to get clearer moving forward.
