The wife of Ethan Plath made the difficult decision to see Barry and Kim a final time before she moved to Florida with Ethan, his sister Moriah Plath, and Moriah’s boyfriend Max Kallschmidt. Olivia appears to have put her past behind her, as she has now moved on to better things in Florida since season 3 wrapped.
Welcome to Plathville chronicles the ultra-conservative Plath family that is headed by Barry and Kim. Ethan was put in a difficult position when his wife and his parents did not get along. Ultimately, Ethan chose Olivia over his parents. The couple faced a rocky road on season 3 that saw them briefly separating before reuniting. To get a fresh start, Olivia and Ethan decided to pack their bags and move to Florida with Moriah and Max after Moriah broke free from her parents’ ultra-conservative rule. The foursome said goodbye to Cairo, Georgia, while Micah Plath surprised the family and fans alike by moving to Los Angeles.

Olivia and Ethan appear to still be on amazing terms with Max and Moriah, as the two couples celebrated Halloween together. Olivia went for a Mad Hatter costume, while Ethan opted for Buddy the Elf. Meanwhile, Max and Moriah donned Peter Pan and Tinkerbell costumes, respectively. Olivia and Ethan’s marriage appears to be back on solid ground, as the two shared some loved-up photos. Olivia also opened up about how she was unraveling in Georgia. However, Olivia is now happy to put her life back together. “I’m stoked to explore Tampa for a year with my best friends, and then the rest of the world after that! This season might be over, but our lives are just beginning,” she said in one Instagram post.

Olivia’s career also appears to be taking off. She describes herself to her 323,000 followers on IG as a “Traveling wedding [plus] elopement photographer.” Though Olivia was raised with very conservative and restricting beliefs, she revealed that she overcame her prejudices and became an open and inclusive person. Olivia covered her first same-sex wedding recently and opened up to commenters about how she changed her old mindset. Her followers were delighted to see this growth. Olivia also revealed on her IG profile that she is filling up very quickly with wedding photography requests and unfortunately won’t be able to accommodate many potential clients. On the other hand, she said that it brings her joy to work with a variety of couples.
Olivia had a difficult time in Cairo when it came to Barry and Kim. She also faced issues in her own life after being raised in a conservative home. Alas, moving away from Georgia appears to have empowered Olivia to expand her beliefs and live her best life. Olivia has been frank about the difficulties of dealing with marriage, family, and personal growth, but it seems like troubled waters are behind the Welcome to Plathville star as she works towards her future with Ethan, Moriah, and Max at her side.
