In the world of Dragon Ball, there aren’t many opportunities for fighters to receive a better education. Many fans prefer it this way. They felt frustrated when Chi-Chi didn’t let Gohan or Goten fight to save the Earth because they didn’t finish their studies. Chi-Chi didn’t want her sons to grow up like Goku. He was abandoned as a child and had grown only to enjoy fighting. Other characters in the series are not aware of school on their planets. Sadly, some fighters may have been created with the sole purpose of fighting on their minds.
Though Dragon Ball focuses on fighting, it doesn’t stop fans from reimagining their favorite characters in alternate occupations. They may even go so far as to mix up the couples if they weren’t happy with the official marriages in the series. Other artists keep things simple. They imagined what some of their favorite Dragon Ball characters would be like in college. Some may be studious and work hard to make good grades. Others find themselves joking around and are doomed to fail.

20 She Didn’t Change Her Spoiled Ways
Bulla is the younger daughter of Vegeta and Bulma. Some fans may only be familiar with the couple’s son, Trunks, who we see raised from an infant into an alternate Future Trunks version. Bulla resembles her mother much more than her Saiyan father, Vegeta. Bulla stands out in different ways from the rest of the Z-Fighter children. While Pan and Marron share similar fighting personalities of their mothers, Bulla is more concerned with showing off her feminine side. As a teen, she was quite spoiled by her parents, especially Vegeta. Panfram shows off Bulla as a slightly older teenager. Instead of worrying about college courses, she’s focused on fashion magazines and music. It seems that Bulla hasn’t changed much since her teenage days.
19 Went Into Early Retirement From Battle
Yamcha got an early start in the Dragon Ball series. He traveled with young Goku and Bulma in the first season of the show. Yamcha was once a criminal who preyed on others. He turned his Desert Bandit lifestyle around and began to help others. In Dragon Ball Z, Yamcha wasn’t as involved in the fight as his fellow Z-Fighters.
Since most of Yamcha’s childhood was spent fighting, we imagine that he uses his peaceful days working on self-improvement.

His style is completely different from his former martial artist’s attire. He no longer has to worry about fighting off alien threats. While the others are battling to save Earth, he can concentrate on graduating.
18 No Longer Interested In Defeating Goku
Androids 16, 17, and 18, were created for the sole purpose of defeating Goku. They even have bombs inserted inside of their bodies as a self-destruct feature. After their oldest sibling, Android 16, was defeated, the remaining siblings could only rely on themselves.
Dykc has restyled the Androids into peace-loving students. They have lost their interest in fighting. They have grown to appreciate Earth for its good food and comic books. Androids 17 and 18 are no longer worried about defeating Goku. Thanks to their new lifestyle, they can focus on what the humans around them are interested in: getting married and raising children. We already know that Krillin has caught Android 18’s eye. They’ll need to earn their college degrees first to acquire good jobs to support those future families.
17 Always Ready For The Earth’s Future Threats
The Z-Fighters were shocked when Future Trunks suddenly appeared in their timeline. They didn’t expect to see Vegeta and Bulma’s child come to defeat the Androids. Dragon Ball GT and Super didn’t give us an in-depth look at Trunk’s growth as we saw with Gohan in Dragon Ball Z.
We imagine that Trunks honed both his intelligence and fighting skills in college.

Trunks not only practices hand-to-hand fighting like his father, Vegeta. He also is a skilled swordsman at just a teenager. 16 Gossip Doesn’t Stop In College
Rumors and gossip don’t stop in high school. They can often haunt students well into college. In this fan art by Camlost, Chi-Chi and Bulma are now around the same age. In the series, Bulma was a teenager while Chi-Chi was only a child. They’re best friends and attending college together. Something has them blushing and laughing. Chi-Chi and Bulma are reading some racy rumors that have the potential hurt a close friend or an enemy. Bulma seems more entertained by the book than Chi-Chi. In the first series of Dragon Ball, we learned that Bulma is not pure enough of heart to ride the Nimbus Cloud, unlike Chi-Chi. Chi-Chi is surprised at how much gossip has evolved in college.

Caulifla grew up among Saiyans in Universe 6. She loved to fight, but she didn’t do it to protect others. When she faced off with Goku, she wanted to defeat him at all costs. Even when fused with her best friend, she was unable to finish him. Goku ended up helping her grow as a fighter instead. Vegeta has had a hard life. He’s suffered at the hands of Frieza and was almost eliminated by Krillin. Things turned around for the mighty “Prince of all Saiyans” since landing on Earth. He fell in love with Bulma and started a family with her. His once mortal enemy, Goku, is now a friend. They’ve worked hard to fight the enemies of Earth together.
RedViolett has given Vegeta an alternative start. As a college student, Vegeta still has a rivalry with Goku. When he’s not spending time in class, he is developing feelings for his friend, Bulma. Earth may not be where he was born and raised, but he has a new opportunity to strengthen his brain instead of his fighting skills.

Goku is the main protagonist of the Dragon Ball series. Even as a grown-up, he has a childlike personality. The only time he gets worked up is when someone or something threatens Earth. Vegeta is the opposite. He gets angry quickly and doesn’t care who he hurts. When the two men begin to become friendly rivals, their lives change forever.
Chi-Chi and Bulma have always been friends, so seeing the loves of their lives get along only makes them happier.

During the 22nd World Martial Arts Tournament, she finds herself falling for calm, cool, and collected, Tien Shinhan. Opposites often attract in the world of Dragon Ball.

They’re enjoying some ice cream, but enjoying each other’s company more. They seem like any other couple that may be walking to their next class.
10 More Like Android 18 Credit Cards
Android 18 is as tough as her brothers. She is determined to take down Goku at all costs. After her life is restored, she changes. She falls in love with Krillin and gets married. If her fate wasn’t already programmed, Android 18 might have walked a different path in life.
Goddessmechanic2 depicts Android 18 as a high-maintenance shopaholic. She isn’t concerned with protecting anyone else except for her interests. When she’s not attending classes, she’s out shopping. The three bags in her hand shows that she gets what she wants. The expression on her face shows how annoyed she is. She doesn’t want to hear lectures about attending class. Android 18 wants to have fun and not worry about college.
9 From The Battlefield To The Soccer Field
Cell, Frieza, and Buu, were some of the most terrible villains the Z-Fighters had to face. They were so tough that the Z-Fighters had to train for months to take them down. The trio caused the elimination of many of Goku’s friends, including Krillin’s future wife. Thankfully, their lives were restored, and the villains were taken out. In Frieza’s case, he was forced to atone for his sins in the underworld among other villains.
If the villains had a chance to live on Earth, they might have changed their ways.
The trio would have traded in their evil ways for sports scholarships at a local university. Cell would have mastered soccer, while Frieza ruled the volleyball field. Buu had the possibility of taking over the basketball court. Villians can change for the better if given the opportunity.
8 Smarter Than Her Professors
At a young age, Bulma was a genius inventor. She was able to create new weapons to aid her in battle. When something was broken, Bulma could fix the issue. She may have been naturally gifted or taught everything she knew from an early age.
Asieybarbie shows Bulma as a young adult, ready to take on the world. She has entered college, ready to learn from some of the best and brightest. There’s only one issue: she’s smarter than anyone else there. Bulma is still willing to stay and help out where she can. The bandages on her elbow and cheek show that she’s determined to face any challenge, even if she gets hurt. Bulma has always had a habit of helping others in need.
7 We Can See Why Beerus Keeps Him Around
When Beerus is on the screen, you will often see Whis by his side. Whis is Beerus’ faithful assistant. While Beerus may become enraged over pudding, Whis will remain calm and peaceful the entire time. The Z-Fighters are amazed at how collected Whis is, even when the universe is in danger of being destroyed.

He isn’t wearing his traditional robes and has opted to trade them for a salmon pink shirt. College students stressing over their grades should take inspiration from Whis’ peaceful personality.
6 Must Have Failed Nutrition Class
When many students enter college, they take advantage of the freedom of food choices. There’s no one to tell them not to drink gallons of soda or 351 burgers. Yurakim_dbarts has reimagined Super Saiyan 4 Goku as a hungry college student. Goku normally has a bottomless stomach. He’s usually shown with several plates surrounding him. Goku needs all of that food because he trains for months at a time. Without a proper meal, Goku wouldn’t have the energy to protect Earth.
In this fan art, Goku has traded all of Chi-Chi’s healthy cooking for cheeseburgers, soda, and french fries. The cashier and a familiar fast food mascot are amazed at Goku’s large appetite. We can only hope he finishes his meal before his next class.
5 Still Fusing Into Gotenks For Fun
After Goku passed, Chi-Chi felt incredibly guilty for being so strict with him and Gohan. She lightened up with her youngest son, Goten. She allowed him to have more freedom to play or attend classes. Goten was more eager to fight and often fused with Trunks to become the playful fighter, Gotenks. He may have been a jokester, but he was also their ideal “Hero of Justice.”

Frieza is one of the evilest villains the Z-Fighters have faced. He enjoys watching others suffer. The only person who managed to make him scared was Beerus, the God of Destruction. Freiza knew what Beerus was capable of doing. In an alternate reality, what if Beerus told Frieza to stop his sinful ways and to learn to be human? Frieza only cares about the newest trends being promoted on social media and getting his daily coffee. Frieza is also now wearing clothing: a stylish mix of a lime green t-shirt and a fluffy tutu. He’ll look stylish in class or at the local cafe.
3 Skipping Class For Sweet Treats
When Chi-Chi and Goku parted as children, she made him promise to marry her. He didn’t understand the proposal at the time, but he kept her in his thoughts. Goku reciprocated her feelings as a grown-up. They became the most well-known couple of the series besides Bulma and Vegeta. We’ve watched Chi-Chi and Goku raise two strong half-Saiyan sons: Gohan and Goten.

Goku’s attentions have always remained on fighting. After getting married, he has to ask Chi-Chi for permission first, but he still manages to get his way. Piccolo is slightly more mature and isn’t as focused on training.

1 Androids’ Night In
Android 21 makes her first appearance in the game Dragon Ball FighterZ. She’s an intelligent scientist and fighter, but also the primary villain. Android 21 has a history with the younger Android’s creator, Dr. Gero.
Since Android 21 had a part in the creation of Androids 16, 17, and 18, she takes a motherly role with the younger fighters.
Db_small_dduck shows that her motherly instinct may falter when they’re all in college. Pizza quickly becomes a staple to students because it’s quick, satisfying, and delicious. Android 21 can’t help but join in on the feast. While the younger Android feast on pizza, she eats Pocky and potato chips. They may all have to face each other in battle in Dragon Ball FighterZ, but at least they’re a great group of friends as college students.
