From Frozen to Toy Story, the latest game in the series weaves a beautiful narrative while visiting different worlds, all populated by the movies and games you already know and love. The ending of Kingdom Hearts 3 does its best to tie everything up in a nice bow, which is difficult based on the convoluted story that its predecessors left for it.

But with the happy beach ending aside, Kingdom Hearts 3 left a little mystery for its more dedicated gamers. A secret video that perhaps gives a glimpse into the future of the series. Here’s how to achieve it.

Unlock All Hidden Mickeys To Get Kingdom Hearts 3’s Secret Ending

Accessing Kingdom Hearts 3’s secret ending video is actually quite easy. Tedious, but easy. Do you know all those Hidden Mickey’s scattered throughout the worlds? Well, that’s all you need, just find and tag them. Luckily you don’t necessarily have to find every single one. The number is based on your play difficulty and breaks down like this:

• If you’re playing on Beginner, you will have to collect all 90 Lucky Emblems.
• If you’re on Standard, then you will need to find 60 Lucky Emblems.
• And Proud mode players will only need to collect 30 Lucky Emblems to meet the unlock condition.

That’s all there is to it, now set forth and beat the game. Once you watch the standard ending and are returned to the Main Menu a popup will tell you that there’s a new video available to watch in the Theatre. Head to the Theater menu and scroll all the way down to the bottom to find a new clip in the Secret Movie section called ‘Yozora’. Sit back and enjoy your spoils.

What Does Kingdom Hearts 3’s Secret Ending Mean?

Just like everything else in a Kingdom Hearts game, the secret ending is a bit ambiguous. It shows Sora waking up in a puddle on a city street in Japan. After Sora stands and looks around it cuts to Riku, and we see somebody watching him from atop a tower. That turns out to be Yozora, the protagonist of the game Verum Rex. Yozora then holds his hands up to the moon creating a heart using his fingers and the title “Reconnect. Kingdom Hearts” appears on the screen. Now, in the past, these sorts of secret cutscenes and videos in Kingdom Hearts always gave a little hint to the future of the series. Will Reconnect be the next game in the series? Re Mind is the first DLC, so it didn’t connect there. I guess only time will tell.
